The York County Sheriff’s Department arrested an RV driver transporting roughly 400 pounds of marijuana.
The department said around 11:24 a.m. on Sunday a deputy pulled over a 2024 Coachman Pursuit motorhome on Interstate 80 near mile marker 354.
Throughout the traffic stop, the deputy observed “multiple indicators” that led him to believe the driver was involved in criminal activity, the department said. K9 Officer Loki indicated the odor of a controlled substances coming from inside the motorhome.
A search of the vehicle followed, and deputies located approximately 400 pounds of marijuana in the back of the motorhome, the department said. The driver was arrested on suspicion of marijuana trafficking charges. The driver is being held at the York County Jail.
