Building a house from hemp is truly remarkable. Hemp is a sustainable and versatile material that offers numerous benefits, including durability, insulation properties, and eco-friendliness. Constructing with hemp promotes environmental conservation by reducing carbon emissions and reliance on traditional building materials. Additionally, hemp homes provide excellent insulation, promoting energy efficiency and reducing utility costs.
imagine how easy this would be on our lungs, it’ll be cooler in the summer times and toasty inside in the winter without using so much gas. less people have respiratory issues. less medicine needs to be issued and made. less consumption. everything is reduced. it’s all better now.
…nowadays if youre going to use it on your outside wall you have to consider the following; full kicks, hammer blows, pick axe, chainsaws, animals that chew wood including bullet penetration. I think it will fail horribly.
Looks like a great product. It's neat to see the mix of high calcium lime with an organic material like hemp, because with just hemp alone, insects would definitely be a concern, but lime is used by farmers to repel pests with pretty good success and the concentration of lime in this product certainly beats treated lumber in the category of environmental safety.
I would really like to know the cost of the building materials. I found $20 a ton on the website but it was set for 2017. So I’m sure it’s different. If not that would be awesome!!!!! I’m in the process of looking to build a home and this seems like a perfect way to build. Let my carbon footprint be little!

Brilliant!
So why can't we buy them yet then ?
Fascinating 😊❤️
How do these fair against an earthquake?
All this has done in the past was create sick moldy garbage places. Sawdust was already done no good.
It doesn't need any binder between the blocks to prevent air flow? Impressive

Great. Wher to order it?
Lobbyists will pay politicians and this stuff will never be code in most areas.
could we make a dome with it?
From the land of LEGO: chapeau!
Good job good luck then good life but quality and safety always be first issue 👍🎉🥳

the R-value of this is 70???? per 1 inch or even per 6 inch thats impossible
Can hemp crete blocks be used as insulaton layer between earth rammed walls exterior walls? Can you have too much R value?
Hemp has the ability to save the environment! IMO.
How does it resist horizontal force though?
Hemp is great but what’s the lime and soy bean oil ? We know soy bean oil should be avoided,
Made a garage out of hempblocks about ten years ago 🙂 all from our own hemp
This is great but the cost of this to build a house and would it be water proof
Can I get this at Lowe's or Home Depot ???

It’s sad to see stuff like this and then you look at the world and somehow everyone is looking at the housing market still. How well is that going ?
I think plant based alternative to lime helps. I will like to own a company that helps in building, from hemp, glass, and/or steel….
