  1. I was diagnosed with aspergers/asd in my childhood and nothing ever really helped until I tried cannabis. Im now 17 years old and smoke every evening before going to bed, the effect the day after is helping with every problem I have that is autism related. I'm not stimming every second of my day anymore, social contact is way easier, the list goes on.
My only problem is that I live in germany, where cannabis is illegal (they are planning on legalizing on April 1st) and there is no way to get medical for autism and under the age of 18.

  2. lets not get carried away – i was told i was hyper by mum who was told by a doc when i was too young to remember. weed wrecked my head and it wrecks peoples lives. lets be honest. there is good and bad in everything. have 20 snickers a day and you will be sick, one a day fine. but weed is highly addictive and trying to not have any will drive you round the bend. facts

  3. The only thing that prevented my meltdowns was marijuana. Im really curious about marijuana research in pregnant people. All the studies that are strictly marijuana usage and not tobacco or other drugs say the only side effect is “neurological defects” with symptoms described as ones youd find in neurodivergent people. Id be curious to know if the neurodivergency was passed down from an undiagnosed parent and not caused by the usage itself…

  4. Quizzed through the roof, for Asperger's Syndrome. Whatever it is, it goes away when I smoke a little herb.

Puff or two. Sativa if I need to concentrate, Indica if it's late in the evening. I rarely ever drink.

  5. I'm autistic and was just planning to get high tonight. 😂 I have a higher tolerance for sensory stimuli than many of my autistic peers, so I don't need it as much for day to day functioning, but I have found that CBD helps substancially with my insomnia and THC helps me think more clearly when I am experiencing high levels of anxiety and overwhelm. My best friend smokes daily. It helps prevent him from melting down at work, especially when he works in food service. The world can be very stressful and overwhelming for us. Cannabis can help slow down or shut off our brains for many of us.
I wish this video didn't frame autism as a horrifying disease, but hey, if you're giving us weed, I can turn a blind eye just this once. 😂

  6. As an autistic person, I'm curious as to what were the "18 pills" he was taking? I'm not aware that any medication is available or prescribed for autism, let alone 18 different ones.

  7. I'm glad this works for some. I'm Autistic and I absolutely do not like it for me personally. For me it feels very uncomfortable to use Cannabis. It seems to make my Autism worse because I go into my own world, get scared and I stop talking.

  8. I had my professional dx of ASD, OCD and CPTSD at age 53. I have been smoking 1g of self-gown outdoors, organic cannabis, daily, for more than 30 years. Now I am taking 18mg Methylphenidate HCL daily and I do not need to smoke Cannabis anymore. I have never felt any euphoria from using Cannabis, just relief from the stressors of my condition. When ever I smoked more than 1g, it was unpleasant.

  9. You don't take medication for autism. If you're on a specific medication for autism… that is abuse. You can be on anxiety meds for anxiety. You can be on sleep meds for sleep issues. Those medications are from the abusers… ABA bullshit.

SOURCE: Me. I am autistic. You don't take medication for autism. It isn't a disease. Autistic people tend to have a lot of comorbidities… you can take medications for those… not autism. Other than alcohol… and that isn't a great idea, but I do it.

EDIT: Okay, I got half way through this… fucking run. These "neurotypical" professionals are psychopaths. Autism is having a hyperconnected brain. They don't have a fucking clue. Fucking repetitive behaviors… that is nothing. There are far more difficult things than that with being autistic. They know nothing.

"Within 5 minutes, it was like a lightswitch!" He was fucking high. She didn't have to move across the country… she is an autism mom and wanted an excuse to move to CA.
