  1. The aspect that zero perspectives of the actual children with autism or any substantial perspective of other autistic adults were included in this video is honestly incredibly disappointing because you are missing the perspective of the people whose perspective is most important regarding this topic. It's truly amazing how media has managed to completely ignore actually including autistic individuals perspectives in things about autism and simply has people who do not experience these things in life talking about them and how they think as if they actually understand it better than someone who lives in a brain that functions that way.

While individuals may have a medical degree or be a parent of an autist and therefore naturally have more understanding on the day-to-day behaviors of an autistic child than an average individual that will never supersede the knowledge an autistic kid has on the way their own brain works. Don't get me wrong, the experiences of parents are totally valid, they just simply are not more valid than the experiences of the actual individuals experiencing autism, they certainly do not provide a more accurate or reliable assessment of the experiences of autists, and completely ignoring the actual autistic perspective is simply ignorant, especially as not all autistic individuals are nonverbal and can't express their opinions or experiences like the kid centered in this video. Yes some are nonverbal and autism is an incredibly broad spectrum but not centering the perspectives on autistic individuals themselves clearly only feeds the misrepresentation that the autism community already experiences rather than actually positively educating anyone on autistic experiences or what might help autists. If you ever make another video on autism or honestly for any other topic I really urge you to actually bother considering the perspectives of those most impacted by the things that you're saying or advocating for in your videos. Particularly when it comes to platforms like yours, that have a extremely large audiences and therefore a substantial influence on people's perception of different topics, it's imperative to recognize that you will influence peoples perspectives regardless of whether you present an accurate or inaccurate representation of a topic and many viewers won't bother double checking the information you share making it all the more vital that you care to accurately represent a diversity of perspectives including those most affected.

  2. Loved this episode. I'm so happy these families were able to find a solution or at least the start of one. I imagine a lot of them will be moving here to CO soon if this works well and if PA doesn't get faster to get dispensaries in their state

  3. I wish some people would treat autism differently, it doesn't mean something is always wrong, swimming is okay sometimes, it's self soothing, just means some people have different needs.

  4. “Autism rates growing” is an insane way to report better detection of autism. I’m a psychologist who has autism and specializes in treating autism, which we know to be primarily (if not entirely) influenced by genetics. Every client I’ve ever worked with has autistic family members. The brain is detectably autistic at 6 months and we’re sure you can’t get it from vaccines lol. Love this for weed tho

  5. If not for strong hash id be on crazy meds that mack me nasty upset and irritated aggressive plus when weed stops it all I got turrets sindrom ADHD anxiety bad and only thing help me with ticking and anxiety and I can eat stops sickness stumick pain and really gave me a life better then bed meds 24,7

  6. Why is everything on vice years old at some point through this documentary they said 2018
And then you have king of the road 2016 what's going on?

  7. Well they took my autistic little boy and going court and fighting for him back because they found THC in his hair and charging me with extreme child abuse so how the hell these people still have there's tho

  8. Couldn’t she just order THC-A flower? Basically sold as hemp but legally shipped to all 50 states and she can decarb the flower for edibles / candy or vapor.

  9. Anyone who thinks that autism and jabs aren't connected haven't been there to see the children go from normal healthy to unable to communicate . There is more to it than that but I hate the jabs with a passion . Dirty money making bastards ! .

  10. Of course cannabis helps people with Autism Syndrome. AP already have heightened senses. A decent amount of weed increases senses and brain cell mitosis but will also protect them from sensory overload. Plus Autism is a genetic condition caused by overabundance of brain cells anyway, so this would work perfectly.

  11. A fluoride dental treatment for my baby who couldn’t “not swallow” the fluoride is what activated my child’s ASD. Why should they be giving fluoride to children who can’t understand to not swallow? I can’t stop my child from not swallowing. So of course they swallowed the fluoride. She was never the same after that.

  12. I’m sure there’s many valid reasons why they are doing this. However those behaviors of biting, screaming etc. and treating it with cannabis is not the right thing to do. They have sensory issues and need to be taught how to manage feelings of frustration, anger, and anxiety. They aren’t learning tools on how to manage negative feelings, instead they are drugging them.
