Good morning. I wanted to ask because I have an LED lamp with adjustable power. In which week of flowering is it best to increase the amount of light so that the flowers swell more? Best regards and I'm glad that such a channel was created 🙂 You provide a lot of useful knowledge.
I saw your guest spot in Mr Grow it, and man you’re the real deal! You’re an incredible scientist and a great source of accurate information. Very cool man 🤙🏽
"Do not prune during flowering phase"….well hell, there's a whole bunch of other channels that say the opposite. They say strip the bottom two thirds at flowering onset, and strip out remaining fan leaves toward the end… which is it? I'd much rather not mess with it at all, but everyone was saying that stripping and trimming was vital for maximum bud growth….
I’ve been pruning during flower , mainly fan leaves to slow air and sun to get in . Is this a problem? They buds don’t seem to growing . Did I fuck up 😢
Can you explain more about the pruning in flower. I’ve always been under the impression and from experience that pruning in early weeks of flower are ok(strain/pheno dependent) Usually take lower branches around days 14-21 to help with air circulation and to create larger colas and no larfy buds under canopy. I will take most of shade leaves also. And then again around day 35-42 I will remove some more fan leaves that blocks bud sites etc. I’ve tried both ways over the 30+ years of growing indoors and haven’t seen many negative affects to my plants by doing this. I realise it stresses the plant out though I think it helps control stretch if you do it around day 14. All my opinion of course. Love your video and information
My first week of flowering I started noticing white powdery leaves , so, I trimmed thankfully it was limited to very bottom of a huge outdoor plant . Then neem oil, I hope my trimming didn’t ruin anything. Please advise
You have great information in your videos 👍👍 can you make one on the topic of how to manage an accidental re-veg there is such little info on the topic 💯 I transitioned my plants from indoors to outdoors a bit too early and they have been going through it 😅 now they look crazy and I'm not sure if I should be removing the old buds or calyxes etc to make room for new buds to form or what?
Hey bud. Those pictures in the tittle. What strain are they? I have unknowns and they look identical to the pictures in the title at the start of your vid?
I put my plants after 3 weeks in bloomphase i think it was too early but it looked full grown.
you should do a video on plant heterosis
thankyou. first time grower and wondered why my buds were so small but they are only just developing. awesome video

One of the smartest men I often find myself referring back to. Thanks for all your great knowledge and help
Many outdoor plants will start to flower when getting 13ish hours of light a day actually.
Can I legally Claim to be a professor too?
Ohio medical program has some real delicacy stuff they got top shelf hand trimmed tops off plants that's thee quality.
Thee bottoms shoukd be cut out for quality you should only go for well lit tops for maximum quality anything else stripping away from tops.

I'm confused, many, many videos state that you can trim and prune during mid flowering ???????
outdoor plants start flowering at 14 hours of daylight, not 12
I would not have gotten through my first grow without your videos. Thank you so much.
this is a very neat channel man !!! good stuff

Genetics determines the trigger for plant flowering..some strains can be flowered at up to14 hours of light ten dark..
This vid is worth a save … tks so much!

According to the powers that be , the environment is screwed anyways . Grow your cannabis to smoke while you watchnthe world burn
I get irritated by peoples voices rather easily when it comes to tutorials and YouTube videos.
Your voice is not bothersome at all, and I appreciates that about you
Also these videos are extremely insightful and throw and filling in a lot of the gaps I had in understanding some of the later stages of growth.
Much obliged.
But what if you have whitefly infestation on a few branches?
Im at 13 hours light per day and already about 3 weeks in to flower. These are clones. The top of the mother plant.
This video is a gold, thank you very much Proffesor!
Awsome stuff man. Short and right to the point. Thanks for the knowledge.

Love the channel!
On the point of over applying phosphorus: other videos have stated that grow lights suck out phosphorous and giving the need for the extra addition
I've heard that during the flowering phase, the size of your veg plant will double or even triple. Is this the case?
Very informative.
