1:45 The graphic seems to conflate gallons and liters … the bulleted list on the left uses gals, but the illustration of same on the right uses the same numbers for volume but indicates liters instead (presumably in error). You might want to fix the latter.
Would 4 15 gallon pots in 5 x 5ft x 220cm high tent, be good enough to take me from seedling to harvest in supersoil ? 6 weeks veg ( 2 weeks seedling in 2L pots, then transplant straight into 15 gallon fabric pot for 4 more weeks of veg ) Then with the remaining 8 / 10 weeks of flower, would there be enough fuel in the tank to get me right through to harvest without any issues ? If i need to top dress, id imagine it would only be dry amendments suited to bloom ? Any feedback would be much appreciated 👍🏼🌿
Does it look alright to grow from a cup to 1 gallon pot to 3 gallons pot and finally to 7 gallons pot? The 7 gallons port is 4 inches wider than the 3 gallons pot.
I once heard that if you were to grow the plants in something as small as a shot glass the plants would be small enough to produce about a quarter ounce at best, and would make the GROWING FOR PERSONAL USE sorry more believable. Is this true? No clue on my end, I just smoke.
Hi there , i have germinated a seed and planted directly into a 15ltr pot. Growth seems a but slow but plant still looks healthy, can the fact that i planted the germinated seed directly into a large fabric pot cause slow growth?
the metric units are my experience and they don't match your imperial units at all, even in your own video >.> who the f needs multi gallon pots? are you growing a tree?
I have some history growing. the larger the pot the larger the harvest. no pot, beds better again. quality seeds with history most important. crab and lobster shell compost is great. unsulforated molasses and offal from a fish plant can replace any fertilizers that they will try and sell you. there is a growers bible that been around for half my growing days. it's the best. Mr Green knowns his stuff. outside can double your harvest.
Substrate! Maybe this is why mine aren't growing much- or flowering that much yet either lol. Not using substrate like a fool. I'm such an amateur but this info is invaluable & I'll apply these lessons next season. Thanks as always – this is becoming my goto YT source for grow advice
Bro. Everything is to simulate the conditions of nature. More space for roots equals bigger plants. A majority is common sense and experience growing plants in general not just marijuana. I've been doing experiments for years. My friend literally just watched a couple videos and wants to tell me how to grow my plants now, someone who never grew any plant a day in his life is trying to tell me how to do it, when I've successfully done it in the past. You can science your shit all day but if you don't any real experience whats the point. You can have all the information in the world, what matters is how its being applied.
Im super dumb can somone tell me which size pot i need is for a auto flower that wont be transplanted its i think the strain is called bannana fruit punch if that helps thanks for any tips
First time grower outdoors in a 3*2*2 M greenhouse. Need advice on pot size to keep the plant under 2M tall(including the pot) and about a 1m2 wide. Will be growing just one plant and using lst, topping and a scrog. Growing Barneys Farm Mimosa X Orange Punch expected to be 180cm tall – mainly indica . Don't want to overshoot it and outgrow the greenhouse. 5 gallon or 10 gallon? More than 10 gallon? No idea on what growth to expect
I have to say, I've learned weed plants seem to know the size of the pots they are in…I've learned planting in even 7 to 10 gal. Pots, the plants still hold back.im now a believer in in ground growing…throw Dat pot away!!!
you left out the importance of breathability of the type of pot .. no word on smart pots that breath are absolutely the best choice .. u still showing off your plastic crap buckets… shame on you!!!
Anyone in here doing 20 gallon pots? Also temp is going down to 48 tonight should i leave her outside or put her in the garage tonight? She is 130 days old. First time grow.
Sometimes i start in small containers and then transfer into 5 gallon pots. But other times i just start the seed right in the 5 gallon pot and go from there. I havnt noticed a difference.
Besides cost, is there an advantage to starting in a smaller pot and transplanting? or if my ultimate goal is to finish in a 5 gallon pot, is it just as good for the plant to start it directly in that pot?
Hi there, I'm growing Autos, normally smaller breeds, ie shorter. I've been wondering if I'm massively short-selling myself by keeping them in only 17cm x 15 cm. What would be a happy-medium in regard to size for Autos?
Bought a bunch of 5 & 7 gal grow bags this year.Grandaddy purples doing great in 7 gal outside with my tomatoes. The tomatoes also seem to like the 7 gal over the 5.The 5 gal work but you can see the difference in the plants in the 7 gal.Pepper plants really work good with the 5 gal.Never going back to plastic containers.
Since I like my girls squatty and bushy😏 I prefer wider pots, so I can tie branches down to further widen the plant. 👍thanks for posting these informative videos!
I have a degree in horticulture, career studies certificate in green house crop production and certified fertilizer applicator, this guy knows his stuff and only uses credible research in his videos. One of the first things you learn in high school/college biology classes and really any classes where resources should be cited in your papers is to use a credible source starting with univerisity research, love watching them, like being in college again :). I think I have seen them all multiple times. I know you don't need a degree to figure some of this stuff out but it's still nice to have credible info for free.

I start my plants for outdoors in disposable cups and they usually get about 30 inches tall without a problem

The bigger the roots the bigger the fruits!
Thankyou DeBacco University,Hope everyones having a great year 🙂
Never use a smooth plastic pot they do nothing for the plant. Pick a fabric or "smart" pot please.

Is it OK to go from a solo cup straight to a 5 gallon?

I use hempy buckets, get away with using 1 gallon pots sometimes 2 gallon if they veg more than 2 months.
this might help someone, A milk crate is one cubic foot which equals almost 7.5 gallons.
You should watch growing with james.
