A young Alberta girl suffered constant seizures, until her mom gave her cannabis oil. But getting a prescription wasn’t easy.

  1. "and your giving drugs to your daughter"
Our pharmaceutical drugs cause more side effects than the marijuana- Lamictal a seizure medication is linked to Stephen Johnson syndrome- a horrible rash that kills! How many children have become toxic on Depakote?
You go for it it mom- taking a natural/ God made herb that calms the nervous system and you see the difference in your child- why would you not use it?
In Revelation it states "God will cure us with leaves" – I am convinced that these are marijuana leaves 🙂

  2. Government was created to be "by the people and for the people", however, it can be and frequently is "the peoples" worst nightmare.
The "law" takes precedent over "justice".

  3. Medical Marijuana "drug" is no different then taking Tylenol or Aspirin pills for your headache. It's a drug. Taking anything to help relieve pain is a DRUG. Just because marijuana wasn't legal then which it should of been legal decades ago was consider bad to ppl and the government is now looked at as beneficial in many ways when it comes to relieve of pain.

  4. Literally speaking this law c##p about canabise is nonsense because it literally been on earth since the beginning of time the ancient Egypt people did it there's documents of it and yeah if anyone knows about u.s.a history that surly wasn't tabacco that they use this was some weed (had to grind it up)

  5. I support this mother 100% percent. Marijuana was one of the first plants we domesticated, and the anecdotal evidence is overwhelming. The biggest issue is that it incredibly difficult to research it scientifically, due to all the red tape involved, which means there aren't enough studies to support the anecdotal evidence we see everywhere. So many people fight the solution due to a social stigma, even when the other alternative is incredibly dangerous. Let's hope the times can change this stigma and help people gain access to a medication that saves them so much pain and struggle.

As a note, I am epileptic myself. The meds they put me on made me lose so much weight you could count every bone in my body. When I start developing suicidal thoughts, I read up on my pills and found out that was a regular side effect. I stopped cold turkey and immediately switched to medical marijuana. Thankfully, my dog taught herself to alert for a seizure and care for me when it was over, or I wouldn't be here. Those pills did nothing to prevent them, ruined my quality of life, and almost caused me to end it. I recommend every person taking prescriptions out there to please inform yourself thoroughly as to what it is, how it works, what the side effects are, etc. NEVER take a medication without knowing precisely what you are taking, and ask yourself if the costs outweigh the benefits of each pill you're prescribed.

  6. I have epilepsy pretty mild when compared to her and let me tell you it’s painful but mostly confusing it’s the fear that really gets you. Also your diaphragm just freezes up so it’s a struggle to breath.
I use hemp oil to be able to fully sleep. I got to a point where I literally couldn’t move my neck and I’m pretty young. It was scary having my shoulder and neck just frozen tight.
