You forgot … Wisconsin … around "Green lake" it grows along the roadways as it was big growing area 100 years ago. It has nothing to do with "Fear Of The Unknown" … that's a Grunge One World Government (JWO) Lie. It's all about the Shekels & Control over people and things. Their "Civil Asset Forfeiture" & "Property Tax" Laws tell the story better.
I remember back in the Reagan administration when he had his big war on drugs, he said something to the effect that 98 or 99% of all heroin addicts started with marijuana and that was definitely true but the other side of the factual coin, was that less than 2% of marijuana, smokers ever used heroin, which was another fact. Which factor you think the government chose to believe and act on? Lol.
It is illegal for reason, it turns an adventurous man ready to travel and conquer women, to fight for his future etc into a nervous, anxious, sweating creature dreaming of coming home, seat alone, put an old sweater and smoke a joint just to play stupid online rpg and eat tonns of chips and ice cream, repeating it everyday. It is an ideal drug for slaves. And it is not a light drug. Know dozens of people who started with one joint on weekends and ended in smoking like some kind of Snoop Dogg all day long, ruining careers, relations explaining that mj opened their eyes and same bs. People on mj finally start to communicate only with people on mj and in fact are inable to talk to other "dull people". Well…there are single responsible users, but just same as with every drug, even alcohol. For most people it is dangerous.
I remember the '80s and the "War on Drugs",in the state of KENTUCKY . I just came back from 3 years service and volunteered to help the Ky state police illiminate as many youth threatening illegal drugs as possible by going to work "under-cover"! Wearing wires and informant work led to the dangers inherent with the endeavor and after having to kill a man in self-defense I decided it wasn't worth it after the K.S.P. sold me out at trial ! Years later I live in a legal state and use cannibis products legally and medically ! Looking back I often wonder was it worth it? A situation where nobody won or accomplished a damned thing but the K.S.P. used my god-damned loyalty to my oath against me and the man I had to kill !!!From this day forever I'll be not loyal to any but my GOD in heaven and be solitary !
"taking advantage of their labor" has a tone of an unfair situation. Consuming of negotiating for their labor yes. It was totally a 2 way street with those that CHOSE to work for wages getting money and the other getting work performed. I hate the bias that so many apply to "information".
I consider myself to be VERY conservative. However, I have a family history of alcoholism and opiate use. I became a little more open to it when I saw it save my cousin’s life. He got off of fentanyl and now is a father of two beautiful children and is intensely involved in their lives. He holds a steady job, works hard, and provides for his family. Do I think it’s for everyone? Probably not. But I’d sooner see my kids (if they “must”) have marijuana than alcohol.
Well, LSD isn't bad when used responsibly either. Psychedelics can help a lot of people, but draconian religious laws ensure those that may benefit cannot.
I think the best way to look at pot and health is don't smoke every day leave some space of about a week or so. The body needs a rest. For me anyway that gets rid of insomnia. But it's not always easy to buy small amounts of weed. If I had a bag around I'd smoke it.
"No acceptable medical uses such as heroin and LSD." Really? Psychedelics are harmless and can give people some of the most profound and meaningful experiences of their lives, which is why they're very useful in treating addiction, PTSD and other traumas. Some of our most important pain medicines are opioids, like heroin. Yes, opioid abuse is dangerous, hence the prescription opioid crisis. A great way to manage opioid addiction, pain and addiction in general is the non-opioid kratom, a cousin of coffee. But several governments are trying to ban that. How about more education and less criminalization?
What are your thoughts on the legality of marijuana?
It's great for food products
We still dint have it in NZ
It doesn't explain why weed was made illegal in other countries around the world
