My 3yr old GSD had his 1st seizure 3 weeks ago then another last week. However, I wasn't home for the 1st so I only saw the aftermath if what seemed to be a rabid, confused, and frightened dog…it was scary and sad as hell. Took him to the vet,, they they blood work, all clean so they had no idea what happened to him but he stayed over anxious for a few hours after that.. When the 2nd came we saw the stiff legs and was able to calm him faster this time. I saw a video on the aloe plant so I'm incorporating that and cbd. BUT….the cbd I have here is Petabis Organics 600 mg/health support/at risk/chronically ill. It was all the store had in stock. Label says 1/2 dropper full daily for his size (82 lb) do you have a better suggestion? And should I get something LESS than this next time? I just want to make sure it's QUALITY cbd?
Hi! Not sure if you read comments on older videos, but I just found this while researching alternatives to phenobarbital. Back story – rescue pup had one seizure in March (was adopted in Feb) and in the past 2.5 weeks has had 5 seizures. All less than 20 seconds, back to baseline soon after. Vet said he was neurologically intact and bloodwork normal. I filled the prescription, but hesitating on starting due to side effects. I did research and started him on CBD yesterday. Do you happen to have a data on dosing in terms of quantity and timing? And thank you!
Growing up seizure were something have seen in movie,sometimes they taught about in school and something have never taught would become a part of my life. Fortunately, I did not many years. I was able to graduate from high school and start college at Vanderbilt University. However during my freshman year I began to have what was eventually diagnosed as simple partial seizures up to 20times a day, I would start blinking rapidly and hear strange noises. This seizure was often brought in by loud sounds such airplane flying overheads or starting a hair dryer. After several test including PET scans, CAT scans etc . I was diagnosed with Epilepsy and after trying several different medications, I found one that controlled my seizure when I was going through YouTube and I read alot of blogs where people who shared their testimonies kept mentioning Anti seizure Herbal medication. I didn’t want to put our Husky Zeus on medication from the Vet I have heard horror stories on how your pets can be affected by those medications. It’s definitely scary and I’m thankful that I came across your guises product
Cbd isn’t working, should I increase dosage? Try a different kind? Its only been a couple of weeks on cbd. So should I try it for longer?
