  1. Do you have recommendations for someone who is pregnant and used to smoke marijuana? I’m having a hard time getting an appetite after going cold turkey after finding out I’m pregnant

  2. So if you stop as a full time smoker you are still a junkie cause you stopped as one.. and if you control your consuption to a minimum and stop there you stopped as a mind strong person that (eventually) don‘t start again.

  3. 5 years smoking, really effecting my mental health. Really unable to stop. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I try and stop smoking as much, I manage it for 2 days, I blink and 2 weeks has gone past and I’m smoking more than ever. This happens every time I try to quit

  4. So in a sense quitting weed that ages your brain prematurely gradually is very similar to a tapering off of for example a benzodiazepine likely not in the biologics as in the mechanicsof it all meaning to make something easier that would otherwise be very difficult to stop and it's both stopping something harming the brain I believe benzos harm the brain are we not all in the same page on this yet? I was on 2 mg a day for 8 years ..Brain is feeling so old and stuck and calcified I believe most psychiatrics damaged nerves and that causes a difference and they're hoping you'll feel better

  5. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with perianal fistula. Since i was a poor migrant in a poor european country I didn't have the best health care for it .

Recently i moved and things even got worse because I used hash to cope with the multiple painful abscesses that would emerge every 3 months. I am 30 yo and i get surgery 2 times a year o' average. Recently doctors have explained that cigarettes and hash were probably one of the reasons i get this or get it more than often. I remember seeing this video a month ago after surgery. And being motivated by the comments to stop. I did and the first 2 weeks were hell physically and mentally. Thank you all for the shared stories.
I am 'not judging anyone but my advice is: ( if you regret doing it frequently after smoking and if you feel that you can't live without it, and if you feel its preventing you from doing stuff you like and that you're health is affected by it then it's probably bad for you.
I am one of those people that got brainwashed by the weed movement that had a point in decriminalization but i feel they deliberately ignored the negative effects of it and didn't warn enough kids like me that got brainwashed by their videos.

  6. You know Doc, I think you have a thought in your head planted by, possibly your Mom at one time, who said this substance is Bad? But as far as the way You've aged you look exactly like I do and I got you beat by 3 years! Yes!!! "Anything you over consume" whether it's cannabis, beer, potato salad, hamburgers, ice cream is going to have a negative effect on your health. You're just negative on it, and, been living with a closed mind since you were born. I prefer the results of the testing in Israel, where they encourage the use of cannabis by their elderly citizens. "Moderation is the word" for everything we consume!!

  7. Not smoking weed is easy, just don't. In my experience of taking months long breaks from smoking the only "withdrawal" symptoms I have are wanting to take naps more frequently and having very lucid dreams for a few weeks. I really don't think about smoking either if I don't have any because it's out of sight, out of mind. The only times I'd have a craving is if I accidentally caught a whiff of someone smoking while I'm out, and those are just mildly annoying for a bit, nothing that drives me crazy for long.

  8. This guy looks like he hasn’t smoked a day in his life see id rather get feedback from someone else in my shoes this guy you can tell has never walked a day in anyone’s shoes who’s struggling with addiction

  9. Bro I just want to stop smoking . I spend too much money on it and I’m just tired but it’s everywhere . Near work . At the deli , walking home and I been smoking weed since I was 14 now I’m 26 and I want to leave it alone in the past and need some serious tips

  10. Boredom is what makes me want to smoke. On the days that I work I dont feel the urge to smoke until I get home. Video games just don't do it for me. I want to quit smoking for a job and to be more disciplined..
I found myself trying to look for a replacement..
I do not want to replace it.
Due to me relapsing I wont be able to apply for the job this year, however im doing way better then I was. If I wasnt at work I was smoking… about 3 grams a day. At first I would go 3 days sober then smoke half a blunt. Now I went up to smoking half a blunt around midnight before bed everyday.
Im mad at myself, I feel like I lost momentum. But I'm doing way better than 3g a day.
Im going to school for architecture and I plan on taking classes during the summer. Hopefully between that and work I wont be as bored.
Also i plan on getting back into the gym.
The job i was trying to get only comes out with a bid once a year so im going to have to wait until next year. But next year i will be ready.

  11. What's extra ironic about the erroneous statement in this clip is that thwarting senility is actually, probably THC's primary characteristic medical function.

  12. Incorrect. THC abuse ages the brain. THC (and other cannabinoids) in moderation however literally reverses the aging process in the brain and can help prevent various forms of senile dementia and neurodegenerative diseases. You can't just interpret scientific investigations into heavy usage and abuse of a compound as being the default. Especially with "cannabis".. A drug that is well known for doing the polar opposite in heavy amounts of what it tends to do/treat with modest amounts and frequency. You guys can't keep up this charade forever. There are downsides already to the drug so it's not helping anyone to just lie.

  13. Hes 💯 right. Ppl always use the excuse that it helps them and is good for u. Smoking anything is going to be bad for you never mind a substance which is going to mess with the brain chemistry.

  14. it's killing me. I feel like I can't change even though it's causing neurodegenerative issues and stopping my neck from healing. I'm so lost. I write notes to myself and never seem to follow through. If I can kick this, my life will be 200% better…failing school right now..

  15. I had terrible insomnia when I tried to quit. I am definitely still quitting, but I do have to do it slowly. I have been smoking all day every day for 35 years and yea…..its a problem now. I don't want it anymore. I want to feel sober. Don't even know what its like to be completely sober since I was very young. Started as a young teenager. So I went from all day every day to none during the day, and only at night to help sleep. Working so far. I do use CBD during the day to help satiate the inhale exhale habit of smoking. The next step will be less at night to help sleep. The final step will be no CBD and no weed. I put my body into shock when I stopped cold turkey. When you've been smoking as long as I have, its hard to do cold turkey. I never thought it would be that bad till I tried. I thought I could at any time because I am a high functioning person with or without. Wrong. I will stay on this path . Thanks for reassuring its ok this way.

  16. I started smoking for chronic Fibromyalgia pain and inability to sleep. It has helped me immensely, and I've stopped considering taking my life since I discovered that it is helping me. I actually had one doc who had me on Fentanyl patches, which nearly killed me. I couldn't live that way anymore, so I opted to wean myself off Fentanyl. That was truly a hellish experience, but I did it by myself. I knew I would have to have something to help me with my pain and insomnia, so I opted for medical cannabis. It was the best decision I ever made. It sucks that there are doctors like this one here who discourages the use when there are people like me who depend on in to be able to function .

  17. Ive used it every day, all day for the last 3 years and now I'm quitting cold turkey. The form I used it on was vaporizing it using a hand held vape for dry flower, from there I place it through a water pipe to filter the hot air and smaller particles. I've had zero issue health wise but now my wife and I are talking about starting a family and here I am, I'm done with it because it simply cannot be in my system for us to start a family. Is day 4 now, and even tho I miss it I'm done with it, it is for a greater purpose that what ever it is I want. (Sorry I went long) anyways, it sucks to quit but it is necessary, too frequent use took my drive, my passion, my push away from me. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Good luck homies!
