  1. Great advice my little dog has Idiopathic epilepsy and her seizures last for a couple of minutes. We have had her on Epiphen for 2 years now but unfortunately August last year they started again and she's on her maximum dose for her size. The seizures from August right through to December have now become daily and I don't really want to put her on another medication from big pharma so I have researched since August for a more natural remedy and I actually found one. I have kept a seizure journal since the first seizure and documented her medication and dose's that increased along this journey. From the 1st December untill the 14th she had 16 seizures. So i started her on Taurine on the 15th December and she hasn't had 1 seizure since. I didn't want to take her off the Epiphen straight away so after 2 weeks of being seizure free I reduced her Epiphen dosage by 1 mg per dose, the week after we have reduced it by another mg and will continue in the hope that we can get her off Epiphen completely. Taurine has completely changed her in her alertness and intelligence. Taurine us a natural ameno acid which helps with brain dysfunction and is good for the liver and kidneys and also great for the heart. It's anti aging properties mean she may live longer too. I've done a YouTube video called (Epilepsy in dogs) on my channel (Just Kidding). I am also posting weekly updates on her progress and documenting everything in her journal. Im so pleased I need to share this amazing natural remedy so anybody who wants advice on the brand of Taurine and dosage I use feel free to see my channel.
