  1. I want to make two prossess for smoking weed.
The first is to get people to forget what they're thinking after a hit of weed.

The second is to get people to dive deeper into an idea instead of forgetting it after a hit of weed.

Questioning which tasks influence people diving deeper into ideas vs forgetting. This is proving to be the difficult part.

  2. A more Conservative stiner here to give my 2 cents: So long as you're an adult with a developed brain, know the risks, and know how it affects you personally, and how to use it with respect and restraint, then yes, for most people, in most ways, it's the safest substance after caffeine, and certainly safer than drinking.

  5. So its good? I smoked weed for the first time in 20 years. The times i had done it before ended badly. Way to much and tripped out. Fast forward older wiser calmer now. Had a puff or 2 every 4 hours over a day. Felt amazing. I felt like a real human. Could seen how much is said through body language. Normally i am aloof and anxious. Overwhelmed. Today i was calm present safe and secure. A first in my life.

  6. With weed becoming more and more legal I think it’s important not to get ahead of ourselves. Does marijuana have a place at the table? Absolutely. I’m glad it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves as a medicinal plant. It has mind altering properties like any other chemical we label medicine, but we don’t know perhaps all we should about it to integrate it into standardized medical therapies. This is true at least for mental disorders and mental health related issues.
In the comments, all around people are voicing their experiences, and there’s a wide range of how marijuana effects people. Some say it helps them cope with their anxiety, some say it’s made it worse. Some say it helps them focus, some highlight the fact they can get lost in the high. Some say they feel like they need it, some are fine with more occasional consumption. This demonstrates just how variable the reactions to marijuana can be. It’s been debated for several years if marijuana usage can trigger psychosis in predisposed individuals, with some positive correlation (https://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/appi.ajp.2021.21111126). There’s also what is known as greening out, when the experience is too intense and the individual can have memory and time disturbances. With these unpredictable responses, it is difficult for the medical community to declare it as a safe treatment, even if it may actually help an individual. The medical community has a responsibility to seek what is best for a patient (beneficence) and to do no harm (non-maleficence) after all. Hopefully research efforts will expand upon this knowledge soon, so it can be better applied in a medical setting and better understood for the casual consumer. This would be a pivotal breakthrough for psychiatric treatments and could drastically increase our understanding of mental health. A great number of people have turned to using this plant throughout time; it’s long overdue that its recognized for its attributes and integrated into Western medicine.

  7. One time I was high asf having a full on conversation with myself. I would have a random thought and then I would conversation with that thought with voice. I told myself “damn bruh, I’m having a conversation between my voice and my mind right now” I couldn’t stop laughing
