Tennessee, Mississippi men arrested in Panola County after marijuana found

PANOLA COUNTY, Texas (KETK) — Three out-of-state men were arrested on Saturday in Panola County for marijuana possession following a traffic stop on Loop 436.

According to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office, a search of the vehicle was conducted after deputies “observed traffic and equipment violations.” During the search, deputies reportedly located multiple packages containing narcotics, a digital scale, packaging materials and three handguns.


Officials said they seized $3,105 pending “forfeiture proceedings by the criminal district attorney.”

Checorreye Debose, 25 of Southaven, Mississippi and Carlos Nelson, 25 of Memphis, Tennessee were arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Quildarious Rayford, 25 of Memphis, Tennessee was also arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
