A few months ago I received a call from the owner of my local pharmacy in East Northport NY that he could no longer fill my prescription for a brand name drug because he would be losing money. Wanting to keep my relationship with the pharmacy, I switched that prescription to Walgreens and kept my other generics with them. It seems the “Inflation Reduction Act “ is another scam like the tuition reduction scam to solicit votes. Hopefully there is enough time to fix this mess so seniors can continue to get their brand name drugs covered by there drug plans.
