  21. I’m a 37 year old who’s always trying to fit in but still hides the fact I live at home with my momma to most of my friends. I spent my fair share of time in mental hospitals 5 or 6 times I think some by my own admission some because of pressure from loved ones after battling psychosis which I’ve never really recovered from to be blunt. I still battle addiction with drugs and alcohol and was stealing from my family daily and seem to just try to get through the days. This came on tonight and was one of the videos I saw today and yesterday that’s keeping me on the straight and narrow. When he shouted no more getting high drinking forties that really hit home to not go behind my families back anymore and abuse medication and alcohol. I’ll probably never get over my pschizoeffective disorder but I believe I can start doing the right thing for my mom who works so hard to keep a roof over our head and food on the table. I vented online about this once before to a rap song then quickly relapsed weeks. The truth was I wasn’t over my own greed yet. Now I can finally say I’m ready. Thank you DMx for impacting my life. When I need you I’ll always know where to find you.

Yall can believe this or not but my dad went to school or met most if not these rapper ice cube and snoop at school poly 2pac at a underground rap battle biggie cuz he almost got in a fist fight with him in the street dr dre he just had a random encounter with apparently snoop and ice cube even came over for dinner on the weekend in high school my grandmother was like oh those boys i remember them they were so sweet i was like tf
