This isnt serial murder. Its a pattern of crime by multiple groups across the US. An attractuve girl is used and they identify an affluent upper middle class jock type. Get him tipsy and horny with the girl. Slip him an altered drink, use his incoherence to rob them and possibly access ATM and accts thru victims phone. Then smother them and drop into a water body so that homicide is never even looked at…. They have caught multuple street level gangs using this method at Spring Break and Festival hot spots already and proven it with confessions and all…. Just a criminal method that has slowly spread by word of mouth over time, and in turn utilization spread over time from mostly the South East US to the rest of the country. Atlanta and Louisiana have had.multiple 4-5 person groups busted doing it
So something that should’ve been determined was whether the individuals had water in their lungs. If they didn’t then they were 100% killed before being dumped in the water because water can only be found in the bronchiole if the victim was trying to breathe while in water.
I don't agree that the smiley face graffiti isn't relevant evidence and has been debunked cause of how common that image is in the graffiti world. Everyone one of these cases had that image near the scene. Just cause the smiley face is common dosnt mean every bridge in the world has one. And the fact that not all smiley faces are drawn the same just gives credence to the idea that its a dark web network. There not all the same because the same person didn't draw it everytime.
if they were operating on the dark web, i think it’d make sense they’d use a common symbol to identify their kills instead of a specific, identifiable symbol? but also the inconsistency raises questions either way
Okay say Kevin is a complete dirtbag and doesn't have any factual information… how come so many of the victims don't have any water in their lungs and didn't drown at all?
Jelani Day too!!! His death was suspicious for sure! I don't think drugs were found in his system, apart from weed, but he was found in water but he didn't drowned 😢 But yeah, I agree with you guys. I don't believe they're all connected. I do find it odd that most were found weeks/months after disappearance with little to no decomposition, around the same amount of alcohol, and same types of drugs. That's very strange.
My first thought was Riley S. Case in Nashville recently! Seems to have all the same symptoms as these other men and found the same way! So sad and scary!
I think Gannon deserves more respect from y'all. Y'all seem to be more interested into discounting his credibility rather than giving him credit for bringing attention to a disturbing multi-decade trend of young men being found dead in water. Also, his fortitude to question the authorities and their methods of investigating these types of deaths. He has even co-authored a book in drowning victim forensics. He has worked tirelessly for many years. So I think he has an informed opinion of what may be happening to these young men.
i believe some of these are accidental drownings and some of these could be connected to underground/online groups who have a s*xual fascination with drugging and killing young men. there's no way the smiley faces are related. regardless rest in peace to the victims
I live in Austin Tx, college town, body of water running through it. In the last 20 months, 10 bodies have been pulled out of the lake, all younger males who had been out drinking. Drugging people at bars to then be later be followed….happens way too often. All marked accidents. So much more going on here
Yes. I have a guy friend who has to take Adderall during the day and Xyrem at night for narcolepsy. It gives him "normal" sleep patterns. But really he just passes out and his body does these weird motions like kicking a leg out or full on sleep walking
I don't think this is a "gang" of killers or even organized crime, but drugging people to rob them is a very common tactic– it is odd that nothing seems to have been taken from any of them though. 🤔 I think a lot of these cases (not all) are just young men who don't know their limits and act recklessly.
There’s a really good book called the collective that’s about a group of killers worldwide that coordinates killing on the dark web. It’s a novel but it’s excellent for those of us that like this kind of material. 😊
A lot of this same type of death has happened in Austin, Texas. From what I've found, they were mainly all male college students. Why are none of them women? The fact that they're all men points to it not being a coincidence.
If we are doing conspiracy theories. What if it's a group of incels taking out youg, successful manly good looking 'Chads'? Personally I think it's a mixture of accidents and murders.
I was so ready for yall to tie in the supernatural. Like this was just some kind of Call of the Void or all these men are being lured by sirens or something. Very logical episode today 😂
There were college guys going missing from Chicago bars last summer. They were all found in the lake. It’s hard to believe they all fell in! I guess some people reported a fake Uber pulling up trying to get them to get in the car. So there is something to this. I don’t think there were smiley faces found though.
I think this could be a group of fed up club security/bouncer that have targeted these men that could be out of jealousy or just annoyed of constantly dealing with drunk college men. They are letting off steam by killing and gaining some type of dominance.
I was on a bachelorette trip in Charleston and while walking down king street we walked past a man that I noticed locked eyes on my sister, he literally stopped walking and watched her go by. After walking another block I noticed he was behind us, he had turned around to follow us. He was so focused on watching my sister he didn’t realize that I was watching him. After walking another minute I asked the girls I was with to stop so I could fix my shoe. He continued walking and I told them he was following us. They didn’t believe me at first but then this man stopped at the end of the street leaned against the wall and waited for us to continue walking again. This case kept coming to my mind. I firmly believe this man was following us with bad intentions towards my sister. We waited until a crowd came along and we darted across the street and as soon as he realized we were gone he started searching up and down the street. Once we made it back to the Airbnb I started googling crime on king street and it is very common for women to be drugged and assaulted. Always keep your eyes open and listen to your intuition! None of the girls I was with noticed this man and then tried to rationalize his behavior.
A friend of mine woke up in the back of a van while out one night in Nashville. He said the adrenaline kicked in big time and he said he just beat up the guy driving until he was able to escape. He felt he might’ve killed the guy due to the injuries on his hands he noticed later, but he just fled to safety. His wallet and phone were stolen, but he somehow found his group of friends the next morning and lived to tell us the story.
Doctors give “XYREM” to people for Narcolepsy/Cataplexy. My best friend was prescribed it and it literally made her lose her mind 😕 and she lost it forever
The Disturbing Truth covers similar events taking place in Austin, TX. "No Swimming in Lady Bird Lake" suggested some instances of accidental drownings are carefully calculated theft that results in unintended deaths.
riley strain 👀
I think its a long haul trucker.

your videos too dark
I've been waiting for you guys to cover this FOREVER!
I cant believe the 10 men found in Lady Bird Lake in the past year in Austin weren't mentioned at all.
Look in to the lady bird lake killer in Austin, Texas. Lots of suspicious deaths, Smiley face adjacent but the police claim they’re not related
Also, the TOR network (darkweb) wasn't publicly available in 1997… It has become a catch-all for people explaining "spooky" things.
So something that should’ve been determined was whether the individuals had water in their lungs. If they didn’t then they were 100% killed before being dumped in the water because water can only be found in the bronchiole if the victim was trying to breathe while in water.
Just something that confused me about this case.

Weird youtube…

Okay say Kevin is a complete dirtbag and doesn't have any factual information… how come so many of the victims don't have any water in their lungs and didn't drown at all?

What if there was no smiley face killer at first but there is now because someone liked the idea…

The theory is beyond ridiculous
I don’t think it’s a smiley killer gang. I think that it’s serial killers in multiple areas with similar MOs
If we are doing conspiracy theories. What if it's a group of incels taking out youg, successful manly good looking 'Chads'?
Personally I think it's a mixture of accidents and murders.

They said Arizona is not included but there is a huge man made lake (Tempe town Lake) next to ASU and one of the busiest places to drink in college

Smiley face killer is so "the mentalist" lol 😅

I've never heard of the smiley face killer
The Smiley faced killer theory is insulting.
