About Marinol: it's a THC monomolecule, no interaction with other cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes. Deadly dosis possible. Lots of other side effects. Okee, it is FDA aprooved but what does that mean? That it's okee? No, that means Big Pharma has the knife on their troath.
"The home grower cannot grow cannabis to a level of medicinal quality and benefit" I totally do not understand this statement. If someone has the capability to grow cannabis they can grow perfectly good medicinal grade cannabis. Am I missing something here? It sounds to me like he is trying to protect the image of the products in his store as somehow being better than what a home grower can produce.
This argument is stupid. Just institutionalize it and tax the hell out of it. Then if someone wants to use it, they can and we won't have to deal with a ridiculous drug war that costs way too much national money and does nothing but kill American money, citizens, and officers. While there has never been even one scientific document that has conclusively shown that cannabis is or is not beneficial for overall human health. These studies are barred because it is an illegal substance. If we legalize it, we can conduct proper scientific studies and figure out exactly what is beneficial, if anything. Unfortunately, anecdotal evidence is not scientifically relevant, so even the miracle stories and personal beliefs of how it effects one individual person are irrelevant until proper studies can be done. It needs to be stated that you are also consuming nicotine and carcinogens when smoking pot without any filtering, and that component is and will always irrefutably be just as unhealthy as smoking an unfiltered cigarette. At the end of the day, do what you want, just stop making me pay the government to regulate other people's decisions whether they be good or bad. I'm sick of the huge government and the ridiculous unnecessary spending on repressing people's right to mess up or improve their own life so long as it doesn't negatively impact other people's lives… like mine.
I feel that I have to correct them on 1 point. you can make much better beer at home than Budweiser or Stella. I know, I have done it. it is also possible for home growers to grow medicinal quality cannabis. lot's of work and equipment but it can be done.
Carl, I agree. I've been watching a lot of videos on YouTube about marijuana and it's "funny" how few people of color appear. Of course given that the War on Drugs is mostly waged in Black and Latino neighborhoods, it doesn't surprise me. When White people smoke weed it's seen as normal or cool; when Black people or Latino people smoke weed we are seen as deviant.
This program is too one sided. There are no blacks, no Asians or Hispanics on their show. They are seeing and talking about pot from a caucasian point of view.
This invention relates to the use of phytocannabinoids, either in an isolated form or in the form of a botanical drug substance (BDS) in the treatment of cancer. Preferably the cancer to be treated is cancer of the prostate, cancer of the breast or cancer of the colon
I actually went to WRMS and voted for Sam on election day. He's not only a voice of logic and reason helping perpetuate a more forward-thinking society in the arena of cannabinoids but for his community as a whole. Thank you Sam for all you continue to do in our 'hood!!!

Tax it? Give me one good reason and I will use it for the pine trees.

"I supported Barack Obama's re-election…" Not wise.
They're funnier than the comedian. The red shirt wasn't the best choice for the panel.
