Nice video. Always remember we like to see the float. No eed to dot right down as the fish hit the bait. I always use tares with hemp and keep the hemp in a little water on the bank as i,m sure it attracts. I ve been today on the Yare and did well.
A good informative video however I've a few tips for you, I've been fishing the Nen for about 60 years now. Firstly I'd never use a hook smaller than a size 14, I also put the hook right through the hemp leaving plenty of hook showing it then stays on for ages and you can catch several fish on one grain. Even when the water is crystal clear the fish aren't put off at all by the heavier tackle. Secondly don't let the tackle run though the swim, hold it steady in one place, you'll find that you aren't plagued so much by those little 3-4oz fish, I'd expect the roach to be 6oz+ where you were fishing. Sorry but despite your efforts we can't see the float.
I enjoyed the last video, despite the plants in the foreground / field of view. You've also made many wives happy, and saved a few anglers' ear-drums, with your hemp hook-bait cooking hack. Is it time for a set-up lure rod to be added to the rod holdall?
Pike appear so often I have to carry my Pike Kit with me, most times you catch them in under a few minutes and then ya fishing picks up 10 minutes later….👍
These videos dude you cant make enough of them, one of the greatest bits about it is it’s my local waters to, keep um coming…👍
And why number 12 shot rather than stotz Jo? Surely this makes the rig less versatile in terms of fiddling with the pattern…esp. on light mainlines like .1?
YOU HAVE SOME DIRT ON YOUR SHIRT FELLA
