  3. Hello, I’m dealing with extreme vision symptoms. It’s really bad in grocery stores and when I’m focusing on it only makes it worst which is most of the time. What type of therapist do you recommend? I need professional help. Thank you for your videos.

  4. I love this so much. Starting strength training was a huge shift in my recovery process. I have and am experiencing exactly what they are talking about here. Mind, body and soul.

  5. Hi Dr Yonit,

I was wondering if sinusitis can be a condition that mimicks some symptoms of PPPD, mostly the feeling out of balance issue and the pressure?
Wondering on what I should do! Getting checked out for it next month and seeing if I'm going to waste my time going there or not..

  6. Very interesting topic, I have actually used Fitness and exercise to get back 85% of my life with assistance from vision therapy. Both have done wonders. I actually just went back to the gym after 8 months off to recover from a back injury when I lost my balance. So much of what you are discussing makes sense. Running for me is extremely difficult and you hit the nail on the head! Fight or Flight symptoms and most times no reward. Keep this great conversation going! 😊

  7. Ohh i wish ..some days i cant even walk . I used to lift go to gym three times a week and play tennis and past two yrs have been awful .Trying to get back into tennis

  8. Thank you so much for sharing this. In the past, I've found strength training to be my best solution to this problem and lately I keep procrastinating it, despite feeling a need for it. You have inspired me to get back into it!

  9. Is swimming good for tinnitus? does it count as strength training? I see that it is predominantly cardiovascular but doesn't it count as strength training because of the resistance from water that I counter with my muscles?

  10. Great video! What about cervicogenic dizziness and exercise? Feeling like I can't do any upper body. Also is it normal to feel horrible and more dizzy after exercise?

  11. Strength training has been critical to my recovery from NCD…in the beginning, after the initial vertigo attacks and the devastating dizziness 24/7, it was weight lifting that gave me brief moments of normalcy. But as soon as I stopped lifting, by the time I walked out of the gym; I was wobbly and woozy.

The improvements were VERY gradual and so slow it sometimes felt like I was never going to be better.

But the body kept subtly shifting and reworking its nervous system and muscle connection.

Just be gentle along with pushing yourself a bit. ❤

  12. In case of mdds, I think it's better to focus more on cardio than strength training; the more natural movements you're doing (and not exposing yourself for unnatural movements in daily life) the faster you heal. When you are running forward and seeing the world going by from the sides that's when you're recalibrating your brain together with the eyes to be normal again; when you are sitting still or standing still and seeing the world going by from the sides, your brain will activate mdds. I have been running my whole life.

  13. I've been lifting weights for the past 15 years but had to take 6 months off after getting VN. Been lifting now for the past year. Lifting weights is sooo good for my mental health. Just benched 315lbs 6 times even with symptoms still 💪
