  1. I tried CBD on my rescue 4 years ago on his seizures and with a couple of drops a day every day or every second day-he’s tiny- he’s been seizure free ever since! I put it on his wet food. The vet was ready to put him on meds. I knew the CBD would help him. It helped me first.

  2. I am convinced that this is caused directly from Vaccines and Flea/Tick medications.
To treat- one must detox their dog- PRONTO. Asap.

1st thing- Fresh food diet- (Turkey or beef meatloaf w egg, bone broth, steamed (2 min) spinach, carrot, sweet potato, broccoli, sardine, (and quinoa if you need a healthy non grain filler)- 9 essential aminos, plus fat/carbs). The cost is the same as kibble- (which is crap) if bought in bulk. And always use filtered water.
    2. Chlorella/Cilantro to detox and chelate out chemicals and metals from dogs body.
    3. Probiotics and Enzymes- very important. This helps protect your pet and optimize nutrients to fight off seizures.
    4. DMG- Liquid- has shown to work very very well as an anti convulsant. Order the liquid- on the gums ideally. DMG has been Shown To Block seizures in Rats and Mice.
    5. Milk Thistle or Adored Beast Liver tonic to help the liver cells regenerate (Administer for 90-120 days)
    6. Fish Oil, Coconut or MCT Oil . Very impt.
    7. You can add Taurine or curcumin also if you wish. Both are impt and safe.
    8. No More vaccines or flea meds or topicals with chemicals- they are killing our pets. Only NATURAL Products or Dawn dish detergent baths, or apple cider vinegar/water dipped comb to rid of fleas. Both work.

  3. I have a dog who has had seizures for 5 years now. I don't think the drugs she takes are losing their effectiveness. We've tried going up from 2 x per day to 3x per day and she actually had them more often rather than less often. I'm thinking maybe she should be taking something else entirely. These days she's having a seizure roughly every 3 weeks and they are very intense. She used to go several months between them. It breaks my heart. She takes longer to come out of them and she has a lot of fear and confusion afterward.

She is on Neurontin 100 mg and Keppra 250 mg twice daily. In your experience, what is the most effective medication for seizures in dogs and how often should a seizure happen if she's optimally medicated? I just want her to have the best life possible.

We're going to the Vet soon for shots and I'd like to talk about this with him so I would appreciate your advice. Thank you so much. I hope you see this. Have a great day.

  4. My Belgian Shepherd had been epileptic since a year old, and controlled with daily tablets from the vet. When he started a seizure, I was about to give a phenobarbitone suppository, which left him dazed and sleepy for hours. I gave him some drops of CBD oil which I use for chronic pain. Having heard it is of use for childhood epilepsy I thought I would try it, we are all mammals. In the time it took to get the dropped back in the bottle, from lying stiff with terrified eyes and gritted teeth, he was sitting up and smiling. No side effects, no grogginess, just back to normal. I started giving him a few drops daily and he never had another seizure.

This is self help, keep a bottle of CBD oil handy and treat your epileptic dog. It's a cannabinoid, same as the endocannabinoids the bodies of ALL MAMMALS make, and it;s the safest medicine around for dogs and humans, or any other mammal friend you have.

I would never let a dog suffer a seizure without acting. The dog he talks about should NOT be sedated or injected, just give several drops by mouth and the seizure will disappear. Taken daily the dog will never have another. If the vet merely hopes to reduce but not enttirely stop all seiizures he's admitting defeat for pharma meds. There is no such failure with CBD, nature's remedy. Don';t take my word for it, try it and see. It's totally safe.

  5. My Baby Boy who is almost 2 started having seizures in December. Episodes happened every 2 weeks started with one, than the next was a cluster of 2-5 than a few weeks out 7 in one day and just yesterday 4 spread out in a day and a cluster of 6 violent seizures within 20-30 mins. It was awful. I just started him a few days ago on the CBD started with .5 but yesterday upped it to the suggested 1ml. Should I give it time!! I am also giving him MCT oil per your video and also Valerian root, milk thistle and want to give him Dandelion tincture. I just don’t have faith in Conventional medicine. Is there anything else I can do??

  6. Sometimes I hate watching these videos. One side says use CBD the other side says absolutely not. Just like diatomaceous earth. Some say it's 100% safe others say it's dangerous. Wtf is the truth?

  7. Hi doc! Appreciate these informative videos and your tips so much. Our sweet aussie boy Bixby who just turned 4yrs old is just under 40lbs, starting having seizures in Jan of this year (2023) and they typically last about 1min long and every month. He just had one today and sadly this time it was only 1week apart. Breaks our heart!! We’ve been giving him CBD by KOI pet Naturals-True Spectrum Cannabidiol and coconut oil 2-3 sprays per day as per instructed for his weight. What Brand is this CBD that you are using and recommend? Also, any tips at all about what else we can do. We just found out that he also carries one of two copies of the SDR1 gene mutation 🙁 his former vet recommended the Simparica Trio before we knew about his drug sensitivity and we had no idea of it’s horrific side effects.. one being causing muscle tremors and seizures! We’ve since switched vets to an integrative vet who suggested we test for the MRD1 and found out. We strongly believe that the flea/heartworm med Simparica caused his seizures but he’s been off since July 2023 (his last dose) and it’s Nov 2023 and he’s still seizing :-(. They seem to be getting more frequent the past few months and we are all so concerned and heartbroken. He snaps right out of them after about 10-20mins pacing and being disoriented and is the sweetest smartest and fun-loving dog ever. I was also trying to detox him with milk thistle for about 12weeks and new vet prescribed taurine supplement which we are now out of. We’ve even switched his diet to raw which he loves. Please help. Any and all recommendations are much appreciated!🙏 Denise

  8. My 17 year old Chihuahua started having seizures in Sept this year and was diagnosed w idiopathic epilepsy. Vet put her on Phenobarbital, but the side effects hinder her quality of life – along with apaxia, she is restless, paces around all day vs she used to sleep all day. Cant go up the stairs anymore, scared to be on harness and go on a walk, my vet didnt recommended using cbd oil with Pheno. Is there a reason why a vet wouldnt recommended it? She has been on Pheno since sept and has not adjusted to side effects at all and its so hard on her and myself trying to get used to this.

  9. Can I start CBD while he is on other meds. He is on Keppra, zonisimide, and Gabapentin. His seizures were down to 1 per mth but now they are 2 to 3 per week plus he is having mini seizures. I want to try CBD and keto.

  10. can low serum chloride cause seizures? Asking cause my dog seems to do better once I do the subcutaneous fluid and I'm trying to figure out what it is in there she needs. At this point I have her stabilized as I added bone broth, more vegetables and blended up celery with bok choy to her premade raw patty that has all the essentials like bone and organs. I feel like I'm constantly monitoring her to make sure she is getting all the minerals necessary. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

  11. I really hope it works. My vet only gives my dog antidepressants and no seizure meds. She wants to take it slow. However it is not helping. We only have one vet in our all town. I emailed for the trails.

  12. Could you please post addressing STROKES N SIEZIORS ..perhaps the difference of each and what to do about it!! Would really appreciate it.
My 5yr. Chiwawa is presenting symptoms..locked up shoulder and neck muscles..intense shaking ect. Been giving her your cbd oil and 'quiet moments' calming herbs..
    Please help, thank you 😊

  13. Hi Dr Jones. From Johannesburg, South Africa. Our precious 2 year old Siberian Husky just starting having seizures. 3rd time last night, with 4 in a row. Full bloods at the vet, all 100% okay. Must we try all 5 remedies at once?
