My pappy watched hee haw cuz of the blonde nurse, and i think he thought it was funny and he watched Benny hill, and ray Stevens… i was born in the 80s so idk if they was reruns or not lmao.. i know he watched the dukes and they was reruns
these guys talk about their 'old school' guys the same way people in my generation about them. I wonder in 40 years how the next one will talk about us 😅
Tex Slazenger and Shanhi Pierce I loved watching them in WCW 1993…That was a huge year for me asa a 13 year old wrestling fan First off I love any old school western theme is always Dope as hell..That theme was so good The fans really startrd cheering for them then they went solo for a bit Dennis Knight No relation to Suge Knight What Suge was to the westcost of rap music with DEATH ROW RECORDS IN 1996 Dennis was the down south Floirda in 1996 lol The reging STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS THE FLORIDA PANTHERS 2024!!! But also in 1996 They did go to the finals in 1996!!!
Anyways what was i saying
Ya..Dennis Knight had a pretty damn good wrestling career Respect 🤜🤜 He neeeds to be a guest VERY SOON and Savio Mean Mark Cantenberry was ahead of his time taking so many pictures at a time when Well you know lol no one was takin pictures lke that Undertaker is so greatful 30 years later he is happy af seeeing those pictures and sharing his true feelings for us to witness 🤜🤜🤜
I REALLY Want a shirt made of that picture 1:25:48….Yep that picture has been a round forever because its one of the best wrestling pictures EVER Must have on a shirt 🙂🙂 I F’in love These Interviews Good to see H.O.G lol you could see how happy he is hangin with his buddy again from 1995-96..I love it!!
Respect Whos next from BSK THAT NEEDS TO BE A GUEST NEXT? Savio??
Love Mark Canterbury and his gentle way of talking, very calming and full of good stories, always had a fondness for Henry Godwinn and a very solid worker to. Very good interview 🙂
In a fight between hako and Harley I believe whoever got the lucky punch in and knocked the other out would be the winner. Then on the next day it would be the other guy. They were both on a level that none of us understand. Unfortunately they don’t make em like that anymore
@SixFeetUnderwithMarkCalaway I soooo appreciate the Hee Haw reference. I’m not even that age. Reminds me of my best grandma. She lived with us in her final years. She had the dvds, watched them on repeat religiously. Plus Buck Owens was from around my area, few hours south. My dad also watched wrestling here and there cuz of Hogan and Jesse Ventura, which got me hooked. I remember being like 3 when the Taker character debuted. I LOVED it. Always was a heel fan. Caught on to the business QUICK. Hated the Hogan gimmick. Even at like 3-4 years old, I recognized the whole gimmick. Get beat down for 10 minutes. Hulk up. Finger point. Punch x3. Awkward big boot. Then the lamest finisher ever. Even as a kindergartner, I saw the flaw in the leg drop, the gap between and also the idea of a leg drop wasn’t even a credible finisher to me as a child. I more gravitated to the IC scene. Rockers were my first fav. Then Macho Man, The Heenan family IC champs in Hennig and Rude. I knew as a 4-5 year old that the IC scene was the best scene. And I also always loved heels. Heenan might be the best that ever was. If I ever went into the business, I’d definitely aspire to be a heel. Heels have the best storylines aside from the heels that became the antihero, such as DX, Austin, Rock, and Punk. My top heel characters ever are Heenan era Rick Rude and Mr. Perfect, Macho King, HBK after turning on Marty (special shout-out to Sherri Martel for those 2), HHH turning on HBK, Steve Corino, Kurt Angle, and legend killer era Orton

Sad we wont get stories like this anymore.
Initial impressions you never would've guessed he was a wrestler, I would've guessed he was a farmer.

Watching taker fight this dip can is like the time he battled the coat…
I was born in Jan 84 and from Indiana and I def remember Hee-Haw on Saturday nights
