This isnt very helpful. It doesnt teach you how to actually start it. Thats the most important part. You cant make a square knot if you arent even aware on how to start it
Thank you very very much! This is the 6th or 7th video on this that I’ve watched – for some reason I kept messing up somewhere! But your video was quite clear in its instructions, I’ve got it now, thank you!!
how long should the threads be? looking for a minimum length, or even an average, just something to work with so I don't waste a ton of material troubleshooting.
You can also just alternate the outer strings. Start with the left outer string, then right outer string. Left, right, left, right. Good to know that way too though! I am trying to make a ring with hemp but don't quite understand how to do it. Is it basically the same process?
Good video, i used to make these square knot & spiral knot bracelet/necklaces a few years ago and couldn't remember the pattern but this instantly brought it back!
Worst video ever
When I attempt a square knot the whole structure begins to twist… And the knots come out kinda sloppy. How do I fix this?
Is this with multiple cords ?
How do you begin?
What does the start look like
Thank you for doing it up close and going slow at first. This video actually made sense to me than others did. Thank you
