  1. Enjoy what you do because it will show in production. Find a balance between work and time off. Self employed is difficult, you end up working all of the time. You both are at a point where it seems you can hire a staff of artists.

  2. Zeb there is a solar generator you might want to check out when you work out on the property where there isn't any electric. Watched several diy people using it to run power tools.

Can you review how to use milk paint over chalk paint.

  3. I hired a housekeeper to come every other week. Then I got sick with RA and other things. I asked her if she would shower me and she said yes. So she comes MWF to shower me and cleans my house every other Friday. She has become part of our family. I’ve never had to tell her what to do. She even decorated my Christmas tree and my house for Christmas. She’s visiting her first grandchild for 6 weeks but will be back soon. None of the people she cleans for left her. We all know how much she adds to our lives. I hope she’ll start coming every Friday to clean as we really need it. She does all the laundry and I get clean sheets all the time. I recommended a couple coworkers to use her and they said it changed their lives.

  4. What is wrong about just painting pieces without making them " chippy" or distressed? No one wants just pretty, new, fresh coat of paint? People don't like that? I'm asking? The " shabby chic" look is kind of " out" in my area ( Florida) , it seems to be easier to paint ( shabby) because to will camouflage errors…ha ha. But people here, seem to want clean and fresh. I just wondered if it was changing in your area at all.? Garm House is definitely OUT here! And i have so much! I'm selling it for pennies on the dollar…just sayin' keep on top of it before spending a lot in Europe???

  5. You guys keep each other in check and always give each other grace. I relate about wanting to be a kind safe person, but we can't be perfect all the time. i give you grace, Jami, as I'm sure you would give me. I think you are very sweet.

  6. Speaking about watching you makes things easier..i have used a few small rub on transfers. But last week I had a few large ones to do. I rubbed and rubbed and rubbed to get them to transfer and I wondered what is going on? Then I remembered you saying to lift as you are applying and it worked soooo much better!! So, thank you !
