My dad had severe arthritis in his spine, and severe back pain as a result. Before my state went legal, he smoked anyways for his back pain. It was incredibly helpful for him, and it helped his insomnia too. IMO it should be legal nationwide, with all the research we are seeing these days regarding its very real medical uses and the fact that recreational use is harmless, there is no valid reason to keep it illegal. Even recreationally, itās a hell of a lot safer than alcohol. Alcohol directly kills thousands of Americans every year from overdoses and liver failure, while meanwhile cannabis kills a big fat zero. Keeping it illegal makes zero sense whatsoever.
