  2. That is a ridiculous price for a teeth cleaning for Max…that is a California price, LOL! I am in Tx and have my dogs teeth cleaned every year when we board her while we are on vacay…it is around $400…always love your videos… 🙂

  3. Longtime follower and subscriber here! I, too, love the thrifting and extra PR idea. I also love the food and culinary videos! I am 6 months into limiting my wheat/gluten consumption due to intolerance and I love watching you learn ways to cook fun and delicious gluten-free meals. Please keep making them!

  4. I love your food videos!! I was actually going to ask if you had any videos coming up on a more restrictive diet for health. I have been on a gut/stomach journey (I have gastroparesis) for about three years and I almost always end up disappointed or sick from eating. Would love some new ideas to maybe try. (obviously, I'm not asking for medical advice)

  5. We have a place that will do teeth cleanings for 169. Ive had my past cats teeth cleaned it was around 300. That price you were quoted seems high. I would contact other vets and see what they charge. You may have a local place like we do that offers a discounted price.

  6. Have you ever tried an epsom salt bath or magnesium topical product for joint pain during a flare up? I use it a lot for joint pain, but I don't have lupus. We're all pretty magnesium deficient anyway, so I don't think it would hurt to try. I do at least two cups of epsom salt in a bath and give it at least 30 minutes to soak in – I only mention that because my friend recently told me she tried with about half a cup and it did nothing. Sorry you aren't feeling well! Sending love!

  7. I have RA and one thing I do is a epsin salt bath and I also will flush my system out by drinking tons of water and other healthy liquids. Like you I love a good broth! I put a splash of chili oil in mine. Sometimes I will also you an ice pack if I am hot on my face or have hives or rashes.
    ❤ Feel better!

  8. something to look into- if you make bone broth in an instant pot, it significantly reduces the histamines. has to do with the cook time. Just a thought!

  9. Your vet probably picked up on the fact that you're an influencer, or that your Dog might be, and is taking advantage of that. They see you take him in and pay for consult visit for minor things like discussing his teeth?? they def feel you have the money to spend on this. Get a second opinion, and I wouldnt go back to this vet for trying to take advantage of you.

  10. Love your vlogs so much!! You could try castor oil! It works for arthritic joints and old injuries- so worth a shot! Also- the teeth cleaning is astronomical 😂 you’re correct! We take our cockapoo to a holistic vet to do non-anesthetic teeth cleaning! Range there is $500-750.

  11. Vet assistant here. Unfortunately when it comes to dental procedures that require anesthesia and possible extractions, the price greatly increases with each tooth extraction and length of anesthesia monitoring. Prices are similar where I work in New York. Vets can’t tell you a small range price because they need to X-ray the root of the tooth before they can decide whether the tooth needs to be pulled. Each tooth can take up to 30 minutes to remove. It’s a pretty extensive procedure, but it really adds to their quality of life. So many little dogs have gum disease which can lead to kidney failure later in life. And honestly, if they are charging that much it usually means you are getting top tier care.

  12. I would definitely look for another vets for quotes! Get some My vet, in the Midwest, charges $285.00 plus extra for bloodwork prior to the pups going under. Oh, and if any teeth need pulled $80.00 per tooth. Your white couch, next purchase a white one in leather. With dogs of my own, leather is the way to go. Easy peasy clean up. ❤️

  13. No! My parents are getting their Golden’s teeth cleaned and there is no way they’d pay that. And it is a straight fee. Period. Why a range. It’s not like they wake him up from anasthesia and put him back under.
