  1. As a bone marrow recipient (living in Texas), my oncology/transplant specialist approved my use of THC during the the process (which is lengthy) except the week of strong chemotherapy and radiation; the week before transplant

  2. Before I watch: A person must be off marijuana for a month before surgery or they risk waking up during the operation. It is important to be forthright with the surgeon if a patient uses cannabis regularly. There are other medications that can be used to prevent the patient from waking up. Please be aware and don't risk such a disaster. The patient doesn't just wake up; they also though awake will not be able to communicate that they are awake and feeling being cut.
