Hi I have a fungus that stars like a little white powder, but later it mades a little black stain in the stands, and them spread through the vein, I saw it raising from the root , fist with white, powder next day, it exhibit some pink reddish color, . .Can U tell me more, of what U think about my case. . ?
I head Pierre last year in some plants and I even made it in some of my plants but it was a job and I had very resilient plants Jack harrier Northern lights in wedding cake
Well i never delt with it but heres my idea…the land where its at just poor a full bottle of cinnamon and spray it with a hose then wait 10 to 30 minutes and and poor another bottle of cinnamon and make sure to get the whole area definitely dont underestimate then do the same with garlic then wait till it dries or bake it at a temp that also kills the fungus then get it slighly moist and mix baking soda into that soil and then poor a thing of vinegar on it and it should bubble all those things are supposed to be a form of fungacide and just wait till that dries and add a second thing of baking soda and vinigar and leave that for a day and then flush the soil and bake it to be dry and not humid and put it back and let the sun dry the rest, pick a very hot day and mix it up every 2 or so hours and then pat it down leave it alone for a week and i mean surely all that saves u years of build up and waiting, just an idea…i cannot say it will work but i say how can it not, cinnamon is a fungle killer and vinegar is too for rust which i think is the same and if alot of co2 kills it then boom but if it spreads then maybe bake it first but if i truly had to say id say i see this works if co2 kills it the soil will bubble with vinigar and i mean it was be hella co2d up so it could kill other useful bacteria but leaving it alone for a week and then feeding the soil nutrients should make the normal stuff in the soil around move to it and microbes and stuff, sounds in theory like it would work i really guess the test might be a fail if co2 created by vinigar and bakeing soda helps it grow by drying the soil so it cant be humid should naturally kill it just make sure rain water cant affect that spot for a week or 2 so a giant tarp will probably keep the water from it, i mean to much of anything can kill anything so more co2 than natural could also kill it so id try this i mean worse thing that could happen if u waste like 30 bucks and the tester plant but if it works that might increase crops and help the planet for big growers and maybe if it works that idea could be used im some way to help root rot?
There should be some biodiversity establishment in the soil before it is used. Trichoderma and lactobacillus can out compete other types of mold or fungi and can be used with conventional and organic soils.
As a molecular biologist and cannabis grower myself, I recently consulted for a cannabis operation in Colombia that eventually had a serious outbreak of Fusarium that was on its way to destroy the entire grow in three greenhouses. after positively identifying the fungus as fusarium, my protocol was to eradicate the fungus as best as possible to save the genetics.
In order to do so I had to identify the 'point source' of this nasty fungus.'
Firstly, no offense to the Colombian locals but they have little or no experience in growing cannabis or molecular biology so it was difficult at best to teach them anything that would protect their crops and protect the end consumer's health and safety.
Day by day, there were many plants showing branch after branch of fusarium and in some cases an entire plant would become wilted overnight and have to be destroyed — along with the soil as fusarium is soil-borne. I demonstrated to one of my assistants how to safely handle the pruning and destroying of the plant material that was infected and I ordered that everyone else was not permitted to enter the greenhouses.
It was a nightmare, because my goal was to cut non-infected infected branches for new cuttings in sterile soil away from the infected greenhouses in an attempt to preserve the genetics. The operation owner was confused and even the locals had no clue that it was a necessary step to preserve and protect the genetics.
The story and experience is a very long story, but I eventually discovered that one of the assistants was moonlighting in the banana fields that were known to have fusarium and he brought it to the greenhouses from 5 hours away and up to 5,000’ elevation where the greenhouses were. He was the point source of this fusarium as found on his boots and clothing. He was also the one building the soil, so that tested positive for fusarium as well and had to be relocated. Roughly 99% of the entire grow was infected and had to be destroyed.
My advice is to know that in equatorial areas that are very humid, you risk your health smoking or ingesting cannabis that undoubtedly is infected with molds like aspergillus, botrytis, fusarium et al.
Steer clear and remember the greatest point source of almost every contaminant – could be YOU. —> 80% of growing anything is cleaning…
I wash all pots before use with a potassium permanganate solution(1/4tsp -gal) and i never reuse soil straight away,i put old soil in a bin of earth worms and other compost(for about 6-8 months) before reuse,i also sprinkle a little cinnamon when i turn the pile. Most important i never buy clones in potted soil or take plants in pots from people this way i avoid things like this coming in and it makes pest management much easier for me.
In Canada cannabis is a commercial crop and this topic is covered. Prevention is the key in LARGE greenhouses research has shown that fungus gnats can vector plant pathogens such as Fusarium but adding the beneficial nematode (Steinernema feltiae) has proven to be highly effective in managing fungus gnat larvae, in addition to a few other pest . If your growing from home just keep your grow area pest free.
What makes holes in the leaves a fungus?
Luke warm water lightly.cinnamon powder.garlic powder, wood ash and turmeric on top layer .

Thanks for sharing this Info. 🌿
Earlier on I watched a nuclear war video that gave me chills, but this sent me over the edge.
not even a real picture of a real plant this is fake news
That's for this information 👍🏾
