  1. The officers should have contacted a family member to get some information about her condition. My mom had dementia and this woman sounds just like my mom. Mom would answer a question one way and a few minutes later she would say just the opposite. Mom even had that same laugh. Someone needs to take away her car keys

  2. Something similar happened to me on October 28th but thank goodness I was at home I had a seizure though I couldn’t tell the EMT’s my name age birthday address who the president was NOTHING it was so scary I had changed medication

  3. I'm going to need that officer to give me his training tips. He didn't skip a single leg and glute day. I'm about to go hit the gym after seeing him lol.

He seems like a kind person too and a good officer.

  4. Can you just show these videos without stigmatizing people by age? There's enough to say based on the circumstances. "22 year old does…", "69 year old does…".

You should be able to get viewers based on the event circumstances.

  5. Poor old lady. She seems nice. And the cops need more education on confused, elderly folks! The handcuffs were COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY! And most likely damaged her skin.
I hope she has children who will step up and take care of her. She should NOT be drinking……and she SHOULD NOT be driving either!!
    This is so sad.

  6. My elderly mother in law had always been a model, upstanding citizen. Her doctor gave her a medication once that put her on a whole different planet. She had a car accident and hit someone in the rear and continued to hit them(gently, thank God)three more times! My husband met the responding officer, who immediately suspected something was “off” with her and they both decided to have her checked at the hospital. Turns out she had a “common” medication reaction that typically happens when elderly people take that certain medication. We were so blessed that the officer was kind and considerate, as well as the person she hit with her car. No handcuffs or harsh judgment, just kindness and gentle persuasion to, perhaps, stop allowing her to drive etc. When law enforcement officers treat people like they would want THEIR loved ones treated, it benefits everyone. She never drove again after that day, and it bothered her immensely, but due to the officer’s kind and understanding demeanor, she accepted it much better than if she had been arrested and humiliated etc. I hope we can get back to the days when we all work together as a society for a common good. It really wasn’t that long ago!

  7. 13:35 She's not a healthy woman. It would be healthiest for her to avoid alcohol altogether.
Alcohol stays longer in the bodies of older people, so it can do more damage to organs, etc. A lot of people think they should be able to drink the same amount of alcohol as when they were younger, but that's not accurate. I hope she can get help from her primary care doc, a therapist/counselor, a support group, etc.
