I've been growing in Coco coir 70/30 for many, many years, I used to buy bricks and mix my own, buffering sucked and now I use Mother earth coco coir/perlite and have had no issues. I use fox farms nutrients, grow big in veg and Tiger bloom in flower, I've tried other nutrients but always seem to go back to fox farms.
Mans!, ive been growing in coco for the last 11 years. So much info everywhere. your short videos have helped me simplify and produce so much better quality flowers. You have explained difficult issues to understand in a very easy and simple way to understand. much love and thank you so much!
I love Mother Earth mediums all around. I’ll be honest, never had issues with the 10lb bricks of coco from coco bliss on Amazon. I buffer it my self and add 15% castings and it works great. Beats paying for water weight in shipping bags
Hi Scot. In another video you said you dont trust manufacturers to properly wash and buffer, but in this video you mention canna and mother earth is fine to use from bag. Just about to start 1st coco grow and wanna make sure i dont need to wash or buffer?
Just flipped to flower on my first Coco grow (using Coco Loco) and liking the results but I don’t quite understand why my runoff EC is significantly less (like 40% lower) than the nutrient EC. Was expecting drainage to be higher EC rather than lower. I assumed it was the plants (GG and Blue Dream) sucking up the nutrients and jacking up the input EC helped but not a lot. After this video now wondering whether it’s a buffering problem. The Blue Dream looks great but the GG while growing very well always seems just a tad on the yellow side. I fertigate every 4 hours aiming for 15% runoff during veg.
Mother earth, and mix in my own perlite. 75/25 in smaller pots 65/35 Final transplant. Works for me not all experiments I do work but this seems to. Ps I also use Canna nutrients Coco during veg. Aqua Flores during flower in my opinion the Coco nutrient has too much nitrogen for the flower stage Stays to green, no fall colors
Canna Coco and Pearlite (70/30 mix) with a healthy dose of 5 different micro rhizomes was where I started… I recycle the mix after each run because due to climate here (tropics of Australia) we found the micro rhizomes take on average 90 days to establish themselves in the medium and do their thing.
I use coco loco by fox farms mixed in with castings and Pro mix hp. Add some harvest hero with silica. But this canna coco sounds interesting and I think Ill give it a try. I would mix in some harvest hero to it as well don't want things getting too heavy and wet.
Great content 👍🏾
can you tone down the voice?
That's outrageous, the price of recherche in EU is 120€ + delivery….unbelievable!
Coco is not inert!

So what would the benefit of going from no till soil to coco ?
Estuaries can be brackish, like the Potomac River. Even the marsh water is too salty.
