In today’s vlog, I’m discussing how I’m doing on day three of sobriety, including strategies I’ve been using to avoid alcohol. Plus …

  1. I feel like a small step could be you stopping the constant swearing, which can affect your mental health. You sound out of control when you do that and it makes you much less "attractive". I also feel like swearing just breeds other unhealthy behavior like smoking and drinking. The small things in life count even though they are small. It could be a small win for you that could lead to much bigger wins like ceasing smoking and alcohol use. Just a thought. Have you ever tried diamond painting? It's a very colorful art that anyone can do that has a huge calming effect. And, you get a beautiful piece of art when you are done that can be hung on your wall. Good luck!

  2. For those of you on Keto/Carnivore diets, I just tried Hero bread. It is pricey but it was delicious. No Carbs and Vegan if that matters to any of you. I am now able to make a sandwich and enjoy it without having to worry about the carbs. I tried the white bread but they have a lot of other products. šŸ˜‹

  3. If i met Ted somewhere….im sorry, but thAT DUDE IS COOL AF! Cindy has her issues, buuuut, im pretty sure we all have our issues and its real easy to judge ppl who put their ish out there for everyone to see. Idc who you are, anyone can make a breakdown video of how you're fuking ur life up. Glad i checked in on ya. If you ever come close to pittsburgh bitch im here. Your man makes you laugh. Dont lose that. He is funny as all hell.

  4. AA is not the only way specially for us atheists. She is already doing therapy and relapse happens sometimes in every form of therapy. Because AA is a non-professional, self-help program, it hasnā€™t been subject to the same rigorous testing as professional therapies. I don't mind the so-called "concern trolling" but stop saying it's the only way

  5. Alcoholic here. Been sober since October 28th 2011. I can't even have one. No problem being around it. My way of avoiding, I don't drink it. Have some willpower, or don't be with someone who drinks. Issue solved.

  6. Youl need a job. You walk around talking to yourself all day with a camera. That's not a real job……talking to yourself and looking at yourself in the camera is not work. Working will make you feel better, you're too into your own head. No wonder you're bored and want to drink all the time. You're accomplishing nothing. You'll be drinking again, same story over and over. Also, you sound so trashy cussing all the time. I cuss, but you saying fucking every other word is just trashy.

  7. Any professional will tell you that relapse is part of the journey. Nobody sets out to quit an addiction and NEVER relapses for the rest of their lives, until death. Anyone who says they did, is lying!! At best they are counting their last relapse as the first time the quit! Disregard all the negative comments, this is YOUR journey, not THEIR journey and everyone's journey is different. Even if you fall of the wagon once a week that is still 6 days that you didn't drink. You will continue to get stronger and 6 days sober before relapse will become 30 days, then 2 months, then 4 months, ect.. Just keep moving forward and accept that you will have setbacks. Too many people just give up when a setback happens instead of picking themselves up, dusting themselves off and moving forward! Also, keep in mind, not every single minute of every single day of your life is supposed to be fantastically fun, Perspective makes a big difference! Your original goal when starting this channel was ro help people who are/were going through the same thing you are/were. Don't let the idiot naysayers distract you from that, they don't wanrt to help anyone and they don't want to see you succeed, they just want to get their sh!ts and giggles from harming others.

  8. I donā€™t know that replacing one addiction with something else that achieves similar results really helps. Both things take the edge off, but what exactly is the edge you need to take off? I think thatā€™s what you need to look into. Otherwise youā€™re really just replacing one vice for another.

  9. Keeping busy and doing things for or about others (volunteering in your community in some way?) is a distraction, helps others, provides structure, stops you being quite so self absorbed and makes you feel good about yourself too. Just a thought.

  10. Hi Cindy, I hope you're going to read this, last year i found a guy on TikTok that was quitting alcohol, he was a long time alcoholic and said that drinking tea is incredibly helpful! He would drink these huge glasses of tea everytime he was live on TikTok

  11. you can always spray paint the frames of the mirrors to a better color of your liking.
keep up the hard work you got this , i will keep saying, stay strong. I hope you and ted grow together and enhance the best relationship you both can have.Support both ways are so important

  12. Iā€™m getting pretty fucking tired of being cynical asshole, so my advice to you comes from my beautiful baby sister who passed away 10 years ago this Christmas!

    ā€œdo what makes you happy!!!!ā€

  13. ur way to hard on urself, expect to take 3 step forward and 1 back. dont let it be a big thing and do u be u. dont let the mental control u, stop thinking about it

  14. Quitting alcohol is the hardest thing for me. When my partner is on board it is easier but you will have those thoughts and cravings. It is hard!!! but you can still do it. So far we are 27 days sober and going. This is IDK our 4th attempt. But we still try we still continue. You got this, but yes in reality is is very very hard.

  15. I'm struggling with alcohol too. It started during covid lock downs. I drank out of boredom and it became a habit. I'm trying to take this journey with you. Its hard because my husband drinks but he can control it. Alcoholism runs in my family but not his. It's hard to see him open a beer and not want one too but I can't expect him to not drink because I can't control myself, even though he offered. I thought of getting one of those Soda Streams so I can make flavored seltzer water at home and drink that instead. I know tea helps me too when I'm struggling. Its hard to change habits but you can do it. Its ok to fail as long as you keep trying and dont give up, that's all that matters. You got this! I have faith in you. Hopefully I can succeed with you šŸ’š

  16. Hi Cindy , you should try the Waterloo sparkling waters. They are just carbonated water and the flavoring from whatever flavor you choose. Currently I'm drinking the cranberry flavored one and they've helped me not want soda all day! Good luck in your journey. Remember they call it a journey for a reason, it's not always about the destination. I believe you can do it. ā¤

  17. White Claw makes me feel terrible! The only time in my life I've blacked our was from white claws. Everytime I drink them they make me bloated and hung over. People thinking they are better than hard liquor are nuts… is it malt liquor? Wtf man

  18. Iā€™m proud of you for not giving in to the unhealthy pattern of coping ā¤ every time you do something different, youā€™re changing your brainā€™s patterns and creating new ones. Thatā€™s so powerful!!!

  19. Hi Cindy welcome to day 3 of sobriety!! ā¤

Also, I haven't commented on your relationship until now, but I just wanted to say that I think Ted is one of the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful guys you have dated and I wish you both the best!
