  1. I just started taking cbd oil. The intrusive thoughts won't go away, but the oil helps me to soothe anxiety in my body which makes it easier to disregard my thoughts. The time of rumination also decreased a lot! I think I will keep on taking it for a while and see how it develops 🙈

  2. I've been using been using full spectrum cbd oil for about 3 weeks now . I took too much at first and it made me feel way worse so i stopped taking it for a few days. Then i started again this time with a very small dose 25 ml for the first week ,50 ml the second , 1 ml for the third and now I'm finally starting to feel a difference in myself intrusive thoughts are bothering me alot less and I feel more calm and happy.

  3. 5-HTP and INOSITOL brought my OCD from a 10 to a 4. Definitely 2 natural products that saved my life. I encourage everyone to do their own research and look into it. Really helped me. I'm also Gluten, dairy, and sugar free except fruit. All of this combined allowed to get a job again.

  4. OCD is over when you learn to respond correctly to thoughts, its not about not having them. Everyone has intrusive thoughts.

Yes us with OCD have thoughts more often because we've freaked out about the theme weve struggled with, once we retrain the brain that this thought is irrelevant and not needed anymore by not reacting/reassuring, the thoughts will be quieter, come less often and in time maybe even go.

I know its hard dealing with the thoughts and ruining moments but we let them ruin moments by reacting to them, its just a thought on repeat that no matter how much you reason with it, its always going to come back. So don't argue with it, agree, ignore and carry on. Dont go into content, dont care you're having the thought.

Once you learn how to deal with the thoughts appropriately i.e ERP, OCD is losing and eventually will lose.

Like Ali says become your own therapist. I've learnt what i know about OCD through Alis videos and my OCD has gone from a 10 to a 3. I believe im recovered but still have intrusive thoughts on my theme but i deal with them much better and theyre so less frequent.

    Thanks Ali, life saver.

  5. Ali, I feel useless. I've had OCD for half a decade and I am 17 now. Everybody expects me to do many things. I can't cook, or do some of the housework all girls do. I ignore guests that come to visit us. I was deep into OCD that I didn't focus on anything else. Now that I am recovering I see how much damage I caused myself. My family has very bad impressions of me. They think I am gonna fail in everything, career, family etc.

  6. I agree Ali. I have spent a lot of money on vitamins, medications….. Of course, none of it has cured my OCD. It just gives you a little help, and for me, my body eventually gets used to substances and alas, my OCD
remains. So the best thing is erp and really making that the main priority for recovery.
