  1. I get asked to recommend face oils. Though I am not a fan of facial oils, I prefer using a good moisturiser instead, but people seem to love using oils especially at night.

    ❓Are all oils the same?
    No

    ❓Are all oils good for skin?
    Nope. Some can actually irritate the skin and make skin more sensitive to effects of sun as well as worsen dark spots.

    If you have sensitive skin or skin prone to develop dark spots then it maybe worthwhile to read the ingredient list and avoid certain oils.

    Here is a list for easy reference :

    ✅Good oils:
    ✔️squalene
    ✔️rosehip
    ✔️grapeseed
    ✔️Hemp
    ✔️ARgan
    ✔️sea Buckthorn
    ✔️almond
    ✔️jojoba

    ❌Bad oils:
    ▪️lavender
    ▪️eucalyptus
    ▪️lemon
    ▪️peppermint
    ▪️Orange
    ▪️Bergamot seed oil
    ▪️cinnamon bark
    ▪️clove

    👩‍⚕️You should avoid using these oils especially if you have sensitive skin , acne prone skin or allergic contact dermatitis.

  2. My personal experience _ Whenever i get breakout I use Aloe vera gel with 2 drops of lavender and it does wonders to my skin. Even better the high Moisturizer that i wasted my money for.
