  1. The proper way to hydrate gelatin sheets is by soaking them in a big bowl of water for a few minutes and then squeeze the excess water out with your hands. When you need to know how much water they absorbed, weigh a bowl of water, soak, squeeze and weigh again. Or weigh the gelatin before and after…

  2. Anyone who actually knows or someone who does this for a living…please tell me what part ive gotten wrong and tell me the correct information, plesse. Thanks

So, it's my understanding that the recipe is only part of how the famous HARIBO gummy texture is achieved. If i'm not mistaken, they're tumbled in drums with liquid carnauba wax which polishes and coats the bears with a protective layer. The bears are also air cured on racks in a climate and humidity controlled room with moving air. The wax helps to regulate the rate of moisture loss, ensuring the bears still look like bears when they're done curing….or so i understand…which could be not understanding at all.

The HARIBO Sour Bears have a very specific sour sanding sugar blend of citric (citrus) and malic (green apple) acids with sugar that has a smaller grain than store bought granulated sugar…the name is escaping me atm.

  3. I know this might not be your audience , you say fruit juice was impossible to taste even when you put more, does that count for canna oil or butter ?before I put a small amount And not feel anything..??

  4. I get nauzea from chronic kidney disease, myasthenia gravis, hyperkalemia and migraines or rarely the flu and I pop one to three Haribo gummy bears and within 10 – 20 minutes I feel sooo much better, usually for the rest of the day. My grandmother said pectin alleviates nausea but after watching this video and you used glucose … 🤔 … ? … 💡! … I wonder if the gummies releave the diabetes I'm always just a tiny bit short (below the diagnosable number) of being diagnosed due to it's comorbidity with CKD . Now I have something to discuss with my PC when I go. Anyway, for almost any nausea, gummy bears work better than medications in my experience.

  5. Any chance you live in a weed friendly society and could have a crack at making some with infused coconut oil, ether that or plain coconut oil? A recipe like that could be pivotal for some of us less accomplished cooks.

  6. Best ever method and recipe. 100% spot on. I made this after many failed attempts. All previous attempts were jellies instead of gummies😂
I was wondering if you've ever coated these and what would be the best way?
