  1. I have SAD (Seasonal affective disorder) for the longest time I never know why I got suicidal in the approaching winter and in winter in general. I just know that certain types of weed like sativa’s help tremendously. I eat a little part of a cookie with coffee and it gets me ready to go out and be a functional member of society without depression. Some days are worse than others but it beats pacing around or lying in bed with death inside your head. I have eaten some of a cookie an hour and a half ago and feel fine but like everything in moderation use it don’t abuse it

  2. Marry Jane should be grown in every herb garden along with any and every herb that will grow in your climate. Mint varieties, chamomile , parsley ,catnip I learned treats fever , rosemary, chives , and so many more

  3. I smoked weed for 9 years straight. Every time I’ve smoked close to
The end of my tenure with cannabis, I became paranoid, thought I was dying etc. it made me more depressed than anything. There was no benefits mentally. I wasn’t able to function no matter how much or little I smoked.

  4. this dude says mental health issues go up during the peak of tik tok and social media rotting peoples brains and blames it on weed but when asked about social media says the data doesnt back that up, this guy is absolutely blowing smoke out of his A*S and is using data from the wizard of oz to deduce whatever little bit fits a narrative for .001% of people

  5. Cannabis is no different than alcohol, still detrimental to health in the long run. However short term I feel cannabis has less harmful early onset health effects. I use daily, I stopped drinking alcohol, and started using cannabis. I have some issues, but who doesn’t? I feel cannabis has helped my mental health more than it’s harmed it. THC percentage is what people need to look at. I stopped dabbing due to high paranoia and panic attacks even when not under the influence. I rly only smoke flower now and it almost night and day difference in my mental health.

  6. When I smoke weed. I feel like I’m more connected to reality and I have absolutely no anxiety in any way.
When I’m not on weed. I’m anxious and fearful like I’m walking on egg shells and my perception of reality is dulled because of excessive thoughts.

And taking a small amount has this affect over around 6 hours of which I’m still able to function in any tasks of the day
Not to mention I’m nicer to the people I love due to the lack of anxiety I have.

And that medicine is illegal and I can’t get it prescribed despite being a complacent tax paying person who doesn’t commit crimes and is a loving husband and father.
    My medicine is illegal. Why?

  7. When I first smoked weed, I got a really bad panic attack. I had never had one in my life at that point (I was 18) my family on my dads side have a history of anxiety disorders, but after I smoked pot, like 2 months later I started having panic attacks occasionally. I truly believe smoking brought that out of me earlier than it would have otherwise. I’ve had good experiences smoking though, mainly when the strain is very low in THC and high in CBD, but I rarely smoke and know my limits. Weed can absolutely help with things, but it can also make things worse, and if you suffer from panic disorder or mental illness, maybe know your limit.

  8. I think that weed gives you a sort of ”weed hangover”. Its subtle but if you’ve been sober for a while relative to how you’ve been smoking you can tell that your thinking becomes clearer again. If you only smoke on weekends, and not on sunday, I think its fine.

  9. For folks that have a bad experince and paranoia on cannabis, i would like to suggest that you are too much ingrained in the dog eat dog, cut and thrust and discriminations of the capitalist paradigm. The man made institutions, corporations with selfish agendas. You need to access a natural, unindoctrinated, free thinking forms of thought.

  10. Also, the schizophrenia rates fluctuate because there's a hell of a lot of misdiagnosis. I got diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in spite of imploring with mental health workers and psychiatrists that I suffer from OCD and PTSD. It took me 8 years to get a simple OCD screening out of these people. They want to paint the picture of an epidemic of serious mental illness (such as psychotic disorders) in the UK so they keep getting funding from government. There are genuine cases of psychosis/schizophrenia but they're few and far between. In my experience, probably 10% of the people diagnosed with a psychotic disorder actually suffer from one. More likely is that they've had anxiety attacks, suffered manic episodes, etc, due to PTSD, OCD, bipolar, or other mental health problems. We have a major problem in the mental health system with these other illnesses becoming labelled as psychosis/schizophrenia.

  11. U ppl think this shit is a joke. If your such a pot head wonder what will happen when ur kid starts smoking it. Or maybe meth. Thats way easier to get. Still make fun of other people suffering. Pizza is a good way to make those with disorders feel good about themselves. Wonder if u post in 15 years time after your little angels been smoking for a few years. I truely hope

  12. This guy is one sided clearly against weed but in all honesty it’s a lot safer then all theses opiates that are getting prescribed and people can drive while on them ridiculous when you can’t on weed even weeks after taking it! Weed is a lot safer then alcohol period.
More studies that are not against weed or for weed like this guy who wrote a book about how bad cannabis is 🤣 need to take place.
