  1. Hi my furr baby took 100mgs of edibles and she's acting super weird definitely not normal very jerky and hasn't moved much is that a toxic level? I'm trying to see if I should take her to the vet or not. I don't have a car so it's harder to get her there but I just wanna hear she's gonna be okay

  2. Thank you for this video! It is Ridiculous to me that marijuana is illegal. The only reason it is illegal is because the pharmaceutical companies want to make their money off their drugs that causes so many side effects!

  3. medical marijuana is garbage crushed up leaves and twigs trim) no oral care none of the corporate chit givem a pinch of flower but be careful cause they get extremely playful and become brute) they love trying to trip u for some reason🤔

  4. Being a dog family we have treated at least three dogs with CBD, (just CBD, less than 1 percent THC) as they aged, and eventually died naturally. It has been a miracle for our puppies as they aged. I personally don't use marijuana , nor does my wife, but the CBD for my arthritis after working out at the gym is a miracle. I sleep like a baby and wake up with no pain. My wife also suffers from gout at times and CBDs work better and faster than anything else she has taken. . I look back when folks got life in prison for having over an ounce of pot. Kind of makes one reflect on the overreaction of our government…. hmmmm could it be profit driven? not much money for pharmaceutical industries when we can just grow our own medicine.. Just sayin

  5. seems like all the info that came from these " studies" ive heard of… the effects of thc on dogs seems like the exact same for humans. it just takes way less for a dog to have these effects. the fatal dose theyre speaking of would require the dog to eat so much buds or flower that its dangerous physically to have that much dried plant in your sysem. Which again is equally dangerous for a human to physically consume that much dried out bud with pointy stems. If your dog gets a little bit of thc itll be fine. theyll eat then go to sleep maybe act a little strange before hand.. again just like people overdoing it with smoking or eating.

  6. I don't know about harmful to pets as when I was in my teens my dog got into a quarter pound of good cannabis ate about 2 ounces he layed around for 4-5 days and although he didn't smoke it he was named toke a kool dog! This is a true story

  7. Hey doc. What's the best carrier for CBD, Hemp oil or MCT? All the seizure talk seems to be for Epilepsy. What about Pituitary related Cushings or a brain tumor? My 14 yr. old weinie dog has seizures(teeth chomping or head shaking). I've given her full spectrum CBD oil since Sept. without much success. This is strong stuff. https://www.laurasmercantile.com/product/homestead-alternatives-extra-strength-full-spectrum-hemp-cbd-oil-3000mg-cbd/
    The carrier oil is MCT(96% C8 – 4% C10).
    Should I try something else?
    Thank you.

  8. Mom went on a trip I stayed home to watch the dog Dog got sick from missing my mom and pooped and puked all over the house I gave her a lil something She was eating again and went totally back to normal

  9. As a vet nurse working in a corporate company, the vets I work with are forbidden from giving advise on CBD. It’s basically instructed to say “Since it’s not FDA approved, I can only let you know that you would be using it at your own risk. Medical marijuana can be toxic to dogs…etc.” With that said, I have a pet who is believed to have a partial CCL rupture. I love integrative medicine. I’m currently taking the route of conservative therapy and have ordered her a brace. With limited income as a vet nurse, I don’t have the money for surgery and would like to explore other potential options before pursuing that route. (I’ve watched your videos on CCL healing and recovery to aid me.) As a user of medical cannabis, I have seen the benefits of it in myself. I’ve used CBD (with 0.1%THC) on my injured dog and seen how much it has aided her. Do you have any suggestions on the range in dosing for CBD oil? My sweet high energy pitty/cattle dog mix is 52 lbs (her BCS is now 6/9 thanks to increased restriction) and I’ve been administering 3mg PO per day (2mg in the AM/1 mg in the PM). I know I have to be careful with it and want to provide the best relief and medical benefit to her as she heals through her potential partial CCL tear with non-surgical treatment. So that you know, we have completed rads and they looked okay, but she has some slight joint laxity in her R stifle. She is bearing weight on both limbs but favoring her injured leg. I would greatly appreciate any input you may have.

  10. Thank you dr!! My puppy has grand mals and I’ve restarted him on a different cbd. The one I used before had no effect. This one is true cbd. Praying it works for him. He’s getting seizures almost every week or two.

  11. Please help me. I just came across this as I’m searching for a way to help my female boxer who is 9 or possibly a little older (she was dumped on the side of a road with a blanket so I’m not sure her exact age) we’ve had her for 8 years or so. She has just started having seizures, she is on 120 mg of phenobarbital a day and I just started her on 50mg a day cbd tincture. I live in a state that is medical marijuana approved and I’m thinking of trying her on the/cbd 1.1 ratio. She weighs 60lbs and has been having episodes everyday for the past month. If you were in my situation what would you give her if the thc/cbd tincture is 50:50 600mg?

  12. I just gave a first dose of lazareth naturals 0.3 MLS of high potency cbd tincture with no thc to my 140 pound great Dane. It seemed to have an opposite effect on him! He became very anxious and he started crying for the first time. He was extremely needy and qouldnt let me leave his side. He acted as if in a bit more pain too, but couldnt tell. Jistvwas weird that he has never acted this way and suddenly he does this weird behavior after his first small dose. He has painful spinal issues and pain. 7 years old. I bought thc free thinking it was safer as I read….

  13. What about a dog who is wasting away from CHF? He has tachycardia & Afib controlled by meds out of ICU on Nov. 26, but HE WON"T EAT! Please help! Can I give him a 1:1 CBD to THC of medical marijuana?I am afraid to try because of I don't want the tachycardia to come back. IWhat brands can be trusted? have him on Pet Realeaf 1700 hemp oil CBD 500mg per ml. once a day divided into two servings per day. He seems better but it didn't help his appetite. It is helping his tremors though. He is on 150m mexilitine , 7.5 mg pimobendan, 80mg furosimide, 90 mg diltiazem all 2 x daily. The 15 mg mirtazipine and 80 mg cerenia do ZERO to his appetite! PLEASE Advise! He hasn't had a full meal since November 19! Force feeding Hill's A/D but only 100mls a day, plus 6-8 raw meatballs from a recepie I found on line, has wheat germ, molasses, gelatin, total cereal, oats and I pot some Royal Canin early heart prescription kibble in it to bind the ball. At least hey go down smoothly but I have to force them too!

  14. Thank you so much for touching on this. Our dog is 6 years old and for the past year has been limping on his back left leg. He has already gone through 2 major surgeries; one for an intestinal blockage removal, and one for a rattlesnake bite where the venom killed all the flesh under his jaw.
The vet recommends surgery, and or long term Rymadol and Tramadol, all of which we do not want to put him through.
We have been wondering about medical marijauna (we live in WA) to treat his pain and knee inflammation.
I would love to have even more information recommended, regarding this healthier form of treatment. So thank you,…. thank you,…… thank you.

  15. If you are going to buy CBD oil online, buy the same lines that are sold at dispensaries. You can google dispensaries in for example CA, or AZ. At least they are regulated and you can be sure you are actually getting the dosage of CBD on the label. If treating for arthritis and pain, CBD from Hemp oil is ok, but if you are serious and want to cure an ailment or cancer, then you would need the CBD / THC from marijuana cannabis and not hemp. Always start low and you can always increase. Always follow recommended dosage on the label.

  16. Spot on! I rescued a 13 yr old Shih Tzu in 2016, he was taken to a high kill shelter by his former family. I pulled him, he was diagnosed with lymphoma and circulating leukemia. I tried IV chemo, after on treatment, he almost passed away. Without any treatment, he was given one month to live. I did a lot of research and all roads pointed to, medical cannabis. I spoke to his vet about trying this, her exact quote "I would much rather we tried something natural vs pumping him full of pharma chemicals." During the course of the first year, he would fall in and out of remission; then, it happened, he went into remission. I also made diet changes, "0" to very little carbs, which I am sure helped. He was on three different tinctures per day; one was more CBD, another was 1:1 and the other was more THC. His vet now uses his case to help other patients. If his vet and I not tried medical cannabis, he would not have made it. #cancerfightingninja

  17. Thanks for posting this, I have a small dog that up to 5 month old had no problem but at 6mth old started to fall over, she has really bad balance issues and will shake her head every now and then for a few seconds my vet said it from from interbreeding.. i'm hoping this will at least make her so she will be able to walk on the lead, but they said she would really go down hill at 5yrs old…..she's just turned one and their is already a worsening happened…can't remember the name they used..but he brain will not talk to her legs…hope this makes sense
