  1. i live in boston but am home in minneapolis for Christmas, which means I get to listen to my Dad whine about the light rail project being a waste of money and how downtown has turned into “skid row” 😂😂

  2. I don't understand why you keep framing this as a killingyou realizeyou can use self-defense including the use of forceto defend another person who cannot defend themselves this was clearly not an act of killing but am act of defending those who can't defend themselves

  3. Nobody should ever casually say "Biden did a lot of good things …" He did a few good things; very few. Those things he did which were good should be the very minimum expectation from our government and should in no way sugarcoat all of the extremely bad things he did. Despite those few good things he did, his Presidency was a failure.

  4. The Minneapolis City Council 7-seat majority is fantastic (DSA/DSA-adjacent majority), but the other 6 members are progressive in their appearance, but neoliberal in their actions. And the mayor, Jacob Frey, is significantly worse than even them. If not for his stupid and corrupt effort to make Minneapolis into a strong mayoral system, the DSA majority would be able to pass whatever they want, but now we need a supermajority to override his vetoes and it sucks. He is basically another white Obama who represents the rich white population of SW Minneapolis. But Twin Cities DSA is challenging him and the effort might succeed. And even despite the mayor, he has still had some notable losses recently – including literally today, when he vetoed the Minneapolis City Council’s budget (the first time a mayor has ever vetoed the budget in city history), and yet a coalition of the left-wing majority and the more centrist DFL members of the council managed to override his veto. However, we may have more difficulty with electing explicitly left-wing city council members going forward, as future municipal elections will be scheduled for Federal Election years (which means that overall voter turnout will be higher, making it harder for left-wing turnout to overwhelm municipal elections). And the neoliberals in the DFL pushed for this amendment on the ballot, almost certainly for the purpose of defeating the left, which is why even though it is technically more democratic, I was opposed to the amendment as a way of fighting back against the neoliberals. I desperately hope that the DSA Council Members can stay in power. But if they can’t, at least where I actually live – St. Paul, we have a leftist supermajority (6 out of 7 seats).

  5. Minnesota has white collar criminals living in multimillion dollar houses, the corruption is deeper that the old police debacle. The only time l could have insurance, was after covid. Once l was insured ,the Dental " professionals " here decided to break my teeth then resell them to me at $ 8000 a pop. The corrupt money grab is from individuals hiding behind corporations. Minnesota fake nice.

  6. Fossil fuel workers are trades people from welders to mechanics to boiler room technicians and many other trades.

These skills are also used in Green energy production. The neo liberals uses retraining as an excuse for in action.

It the "learn to code" 2.0

  7. Hell yes, Thirsty Thursday with Emma Vigeland 😂 (I don’t mean that in a sexual way, I’m openly gay and have a man for one). But anyway Emma, you’re such a badass and the left is so lucky to have someone as intelligent and knowledgeable and articulate as you. Can’t wait to hear about policing in my city of Minneapolis.
