  1. Hi guys, I love watching your videos! Thank you. I was raised in Oakley Idaho very much in the same way you are raising your kids. I was number 4 out of thirteen. I have 20 grandkids now and they love to ride my horses. I’m coming thru St George this weekend to visit my daughter and her family. I was just wondering if you knew of any ropings or roping practices this weekend in the St George or Mesquite areas?

  2. Cabin pressure is powered by high pressure bleed air from the engines. Rising to 30000 cruising altitude, typical airline cabin pressure drops to around 8000 feet equivalent, which is a compromise between passenger comfort and stress cycling on the pressure hull. When the aircraft descends, which often happens faster than ascent, your body has to readjust to ground level pressure. Which is well known for ear-popping, triggering migraines or even stomach gas pains. If you want to monitor cabin pressure yourself, most smartphones have a pressure sensor in them. Find an barometer app to access it.

  3. A big surprise at Christmas, hard to beat.
An idea about your facial, orbital pain. Sinus injury from the clod. yrs ago, causing an intermittent obstruction of sinus, at times. When you have pain from flying, and have big change in baro pressure, a current obstruction of sinus combined with previous injury, result in symptoms of a severe sinus infection. Next time you fly, try a Sudafed to dilate sinuses. An easy fix, if it works.

  4. You are correct the pain is caused by what is called a "sinus block" when the air can not go back into the sinus and the pain can be very sharp and intense, It may be caused by a slight runny nose. the cure is for you to take your thumb and forefinger close off the nose and blow against them you may have to blow very hard for relief the reason it goes away after a while is it gradually equalizes . that is called performing the "Valsalva Maneuver" very common to military flight crews.
