Informative content for navigating my own fertility and endo journey. I follow your page on IG and appreciate you sharing so much expertise and knowledge in this area. So helpful!
Side note: Unfortunately, the intro music causes too much overstimulation for me. Felt myself shifting into adrenaline-based sympathetic response prior to arriving to the wisdom and knowledge provided. Thank you so much for sharing, however please consider other techniques to invite an increase of engagement without the strange theatrical trailer music as if I'm watching the beginning of an action movie.
Impeccable timing. Just turned down my doctor for laparoscopy/hysterectomy a few months ago when I suspected I had endometriosis and was put on double birth control dosage while I researched. I’m going to try to find a specialist in a surrounding state.
Thank you both for this and your time! Invaluable gems here ! Fantastic interview conversation! I hope one day soon I will get quality of my life back and thriving! Love Shanda 🙋🏻♀️🇨🇦
This is so important! I use to use sugar to cope with my pain not knowing this was causing more inflammation in my body. My diet is clean now and run ant inflammatory protocols and it’s been 3 years pain free and no more surgeries
Thank you, Joleene, for this incredibly informative episode. I was recently diagnosed with severe endometriosis after 8 years of being misdiagnosed. I had excision surgery, but unfortunately, I’m still in extreme pain. It’s been so hard, especially since there’s no specialist in my state, and I can’t afford to travel for care. Not being able to work or live my life fully has been devastating. Doctors keep attributing my pain to severe IBS or suggesting I stay on birth control, but nothing seems to help. Hearing discussions like this makes me feel less alone in this struggle. Thank you for shedding light on this condition.
