  1. I like photo period plants for my experiences auto flowering plants always stunted growth or less then great outcomes. Compared to photo period genetics. Lately they done alot of work with autos and frosty and coloration of buds recently too. One of the things i hate with some auto genetics you can have a plant that seems to take longer then average to start flowering cycles too autos plants doesn't want to flower and having a midget plant that aint producing as much or take 6 to 9 months to flower is a downside too and never had issues with photo periods genetics taking to long or small sized or less amounts of flowering.

  2. Photo period plants can be triggered to flower just as fast as autos but unlike autos the photo period plants can be cloned and kept around for years. Autos can be great outdoors to achieve a double harvest.

  3. I recommend you grow photosynthesis first and get to know the marijuana plant before you grow autos you don’t have to but the way auto cannabis, girls, and the things that you cannot, and should not do like cloning or high stress training. Transplanting shouldn’t be done again. It can be, but you want to germinate that seed and put it in a 5 gallon bucket and let it grow from there. It doesn’t have enough timeto come out of stress, but once you’re good at growing the photos, then there’s a few things you can do with autos that you have learned from Photos, happy growing brothers and sisters.

  4. Outdoors, autos are fantastic! I will always have a few autos in my garden. But, I don't grow auto-flowers indoors anymore.

Here in California, weve got plenty of sunshine, but electricity is kinda expensive. Even though I've only got a few small tents, but the combination of our high utility rates and our long, hot summers (temperatures over 95° f for 3-5 months) make autos impracticable for indoor grows.
Autos I've always run on a 18 hours ON/6 OFF. Flowering photos, I'll run an 11 hours ON/13 hours OFF lighting cycle all summer with great results. That's a 7 hour difference compared to 18/6, plus the environmental controls that are not needed during the lights OFF phase. I run my air conditioning quite a bit less when the lights are OFF, even though I'm running LEDs. The savings on my bill are substantial, my equipment runs less hours and the quality is 🔥

  5. I used to grow autoflowering and photoperiodics together. Often the same strains one as photo, one as autoflowering.

I have to say, that every autoflower was less productive than her photoperiodic sister.

In my opinion autoflowering used to grow in small spaces – with losses in yield – or if you have some spots on your table left…

That's my newest way. Setting a table full of Photos and if some didn't performe well, I put some autoflowers there.

  6. They don’t like cold 🥶 especially started from seed. You will stunt the hell out of them especially watering them with water under room temp. Starting them out from seed is the most sensitive time. They like it warm , warm. If you mess the seed stage up … they won’t grow right at all. They will barely develop or grow big , bushy and not mature and stay Larfy. They might survive the stress and turn out a little . But overall they can’t handle stress at all.
