  1. Low and slow is the way to go! I have struggled with PTSD, major depressive disorder, and chronic anxiety for years. Taking one inhale of a northern lights indica helps me stabilize and calms me. It also helps stop the intrusive thoughts and extreme self-critical voice. It took me a while to figure out what works. I definitely agree with low and slow! Be patient with yourself. If cannabis doesn’t help, ask your doc about other treatments. It’s not for everyone!🖤

  2. I can agree, dosing is the toughest part. When I went to the medical dispensary, I asked for the lowest THC products available. They gave me one type of edible (only had 2mg THC but 6mg of CBD) and a vape pen that had lower THC content and paired it with CBD (a 1:1 ratio). I found out, 2mg does not take my pain away, but it did definitely help me relax. I suffer from chronic pain but also have some anxiety, so it is good to know that I could have 2mg in social situations and i should be fine. Where I start getting "baked" was at 5 to 6mg with edibles. Smoking is definitely different, it hits almost immediately for me. So I took too much the first draw and realized I was blasted beyond functionally. So after that, I took smaller hits, and now I am comfortable with the dosing. Anxiety is definitely something that can be curbed with this stuff, but I do think people need to figure out what their correct dose is, just for reference, i am 6'3" and 285lbs… i am a big guy, but very sensitive to products such as beer and cannabis.

  3. I discovered this month that sativa isn't good for my mind, the strain was Super lemon haze.. I haven't used any sativa dominant for a week now, but i can still feel the discomfort when i smoke indica that also has sativa in it. The only way back to normal for me, is to take a tolerance break and let the sativa thc leave my mind. I guess that sativa layers in the brain mostly and indica layers in the body/fat. Im not saying sativa doesn't layer in body fat, it just feel like its mostly in my brain..

  4. I purchased CBD gummies, infused full spectrum and they each contain 25mg of CBD.. legal amount of THC… I took one for two days and I wasn't sure I felt any relief or not.. when is it safe to start taking two a day and so on? Thank you!

  5. Actually regardless of Indica or sativa as long as it’s high CBD you’ll be OK. I use Columbia care amnesia strain which is 12% CBD 6% THC and it puts me to sleep everybody’s biology is different so Indica or sativa strains really doesn’t matter much

  6. What about in states where medical marijuana isn't legal? I have PTSD and have been taking meds every day for 6 years. I'd rather not be on the medicine and use marijuana, but I've never even experimented with it.

  7. I blend an even amount of delta-9 thc cannabis and cbd , now I will throw in some delta 8 as well. But that mild blend is amazing. I have reduced the amount of anxiety and panic attacks in my life so much!!

  8. Thank you! This video helps me allot! I have lupus sle, fibromylagia, and ocd! I've been taking hydrocodone for over 2 and a half years now for my all over, everyday pain. And ssri for my mental disorder! I'm addicted to the pain medicine now, and it doesn't really work anymore, I'm looking into a pen, a strain for pain, depression, anxiety, or panic attacks, something uplifting, and euphoric all in one.

  9. We live in a society where we’d rather self medicate rather than other coping methods. Marijuana is all of a sudden the new miracle drug. Will it make my hair grow back? Will it cure covid? Will sit end world hunger? Lol I guess the miracles are endless with this drug.

  10. Ive dealt with anxiety for many years and am just now considering medical marijuana to help with my anxiety. Ive done some research and read about micro dosing and I’m curious, would you recommend to only intake it while have an panic attack or a would I micro dose daily? Thank you!!

  11. I used to smoke pot a lot in my 20s and quit altogether in my 30s (1990s). I developed panic attacks and anxiety disorders in 2010. Recently cannabis was legalized where I live and last Friday I had an edible that I bought from a dispensary. I purposely bought a delta 8 stevia strain with 500 mg THC. I make no bones about it I wanted to get high. It took about two hours to hit me at around 2:30am. After watching a movie I decided to watch Netflix's Headspace guide to meditation which I was putting off for the right time. Being high seemed to be exactly the right time. I haven't enjoyed myself so much in years. I binged the whole series. I even stopped in the middle to google if you can overdo meditation just to be safe. I'm not saying that going for the strongest effect is for everyone with anxiety but I have had a lot of experience with pot as a young adult and knew pretty much exactly what to expect. I am making this a regular Friday night ritual and can't wait for Friday to do it all again complete with the meditation videos. Haven't had a panic attack all week and haven't felt this relaxed and centered for years. Nothing I was ever prescribed worked as well as just one night of THC and the positive effects are still working for me. Hope this helps someone.
