POT works! When I take it I fell relaxed, happy, and sleep well . When I wake up less inflammation and pain. It works to well that is why they don’t want to make it totally legal.
I have Long Covid, I live in a place with Medical and Rec. usage allowed. I have not needed any chemical antidepressants or antianxiety pills. I am managing my symptoms and slowly recovering. This is anecdotal evidence and almost useless to proper research. Only the independent epidemiological studies you propose are significant. But Schedule 1, no fed grants, no research facility can touch it.

Hospitals are full of alcohol related conditions, from liver, pancreas organ damage to trauma from car accidents which includes people hurt/ killed by drunk drivers. As a 40 year RN at a trauma center I’ve seen it all…alcohol is a deadly drug, not marijuana.
