Yyoo, my brother has been having some strange seizure type episodes lately, never happened before, but right before he starts seizing it's like something scares the living crap out of him, and he tries to run away and THEN STARTS going into convulsions!!!!! Does anyone know what's up, cause the doctors can't find anything wrong with his heart or brain and we're all freaked out by it!!!! I believe it's something spiritual we can't see!!!! Something is attacking him and then causing him to have seizures!!!!!
My daughter has autism, anxiety and ADD. She has had special help in m school since preschool . Poor “ executive function” and “ slow processing “. She is now 17 and had a seizure out of the blue . Had brain scan and found that she has “gray matter hetetropias scattered in her brain . Basically when her brain was formed in the womb parts of the brain did not “ pop” out where they were supposed to go, so some of the outside brain is still on the inside. Those spots are located in areas that are interfering with memory, processing speed, speech, executive function. She is at high risk for epilepsy now. We live in USA. She wants to drive so bad, but I’m too scared to let her drive. I don’t know when or if she will have a seizure along with the fact that she has slow processing. I drive her everywhere and I am a single mom working . It’s very stressful for both she and I , but I’m so scared to take a chance on her driving
I have seizures where I lay down and just Stay still for a couple of seconds and then I get up and I lose my memory for about 30 seconds and then I’m fine
Oh wow… so many people accuse me of making this up, or being unintelligent. A space case.. I'll be talking, all of a sudden forget what I said, space out.. then I'm so confused, tired. And out of it for a bit. Sometimes I snap right back.. sometimes I have tremors.. so therfore, I'm making it up. I went through so much testing for narcolepsy, and cataplexy, because they assumed it was that. I was first diagnosed with PNES.. but now finally getting testing.. and on the right path. (At 36) its a shame when people call you a liar for something you're experiencing.
Everytime i had seizures i bit my tongue so bad like i wouldn’t even be able to eat or drink for the next 3 weeks that’s the kind of pain i wouldn’t even wish on my enemies
it's really scary cause you can feel it coming, I'm 20 now and it doesn't happen to me that much anymore only when i feel dozy while sitting i will feel my body shaking a little and it'll just stop when i force myself to wake up, it was worst when i was still a kid though cause I can't control my body or force myself to wake up when it happens and my dad needs to stay up all night beside me everytime i sleep just to make sure he'll be there for my aid 😢
edit: i forgot to say this, my uncle died at 20 years of age because if this disorder too and made me realize how difficult it is for my dad to see my situation, Im really greatful for him.❤
I know the pain because I have it too. It can feel like you don’t belong or your a monster sometimes but there is always someone out there for you, and you are not a monster and you do belong. I love how all my friends and everyone I know treat me like a human and don’t act like they have to do everything for me, they just treat me like I’m a human being. That’s really one think that I want
So sorry for him praying it super SAd that him and his parents have to go through makes my so grateful that my child is healthy it hard my heart goes out to her .❤🙏🏼
I have v massive seizures and they last ab 10 minutes, I had four seizures in the matter of four days two months ago, im officially two month seizure free. I want people to know how serious this condition can be
Am I the only one who found out these seizures are all in my head and decided to fight them and now I don't have them anymore. People go through this because their weak, be strong and they'll go away.
Never will I understand why the body intends to overproduce neuronal activity into the Brain just to shock itself. But one thing is for sure, the empathy towards this "disease" is here. My mother, step-father, and biological father all suffered from seizures at one point in their lives without known reasons for those triggers–my step-father being the only exception. Though, there have been ways to treat these episodes, it's unfortunate these events happen regardless.
My Mom and my aunt keep telling to stop daydreaming, to avoid my seizure from happening (it happened to me twice this year, while before that, it's only once. And I realized, it's worsening, because this year it happened in public place, college classroom)..
God bless you guys

My ex girlfriend started developing these in her 30s, odd thing to suddenly be affected by because she had no history of them ever in her family
