80% of the immune system is located in the gut bacteria so if your animal has diarrhea for instance get that resolved. The vet i used to go to just gave her antibiotics but never got her gut bat to where it should have been just treatment, treatment, etc. I should have dumped them earlier.
Thank you but ginger tea really upsets my Stomach but going to try other things you suggested for my horse that tore a back ligament befor i have to put her down vet only prescibe bute and antibiotics but i quit the antibiotics and bute as she was so tired of being force fed and I don't blame her but also the pain hate seeing her in
Whey protein like the bodybuilders take — it really helped bone growth for me, when I had a compound break of my arm. They did a study later that showed it helped. I was middle-aged and the bone doctor was worried it wouldn't heal, but instead I healed quicker!
That said, I bet that collarbone is worse pain and trouble than I had, so I hope you heal soon.
Thank you. I got my dog as a rescue. She's doing good but for about a week now. At night she's jumping on me along with biting and scratching me. I can't tell if she's playing or what.
I giggle at the suggestion of natural anti-inflammatories to replace NSAIDs aka Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. Acute inflammation vs chronic inflammation wasn't even brought up as a consideration here. I think a LOT more discussion and informing needs to happen to be able to choose the right treatment "natural" or otherwise. PLEASE talk to your vet/doc about SPECIFIC conditions your pet or you have and ask why one treatment would be better than another for that specific condition. Arthritis is not going to be treated the same as a broken bone.
This was talked about years ago – I read in my father's pharmaceutical journal (he was a GP and pharmacist in the UK) – that NSAID's delayed healing in bone fractures in humans- now Dad has been dead 12 years – and so this information has been around a long time. He didn' like them anyway – and rarely recommended them. There are far better natural alternatives.
Thanks Dr Jones for another vital video , my brother Mike is using many of your remedies on his little Dog Gizmo & its really helping him like home made food is working wonders on his digestion but he still has a very itchy skin currently & a bit raised skin in places "not Fleas " hes been to the vets a few times but still not cured him , Gizmo is a Shih Tzu Gold & white colour we live in the UK doesn't seem to be a seasonal thing ? i need to try the Ginger tea & Comfrey looks good thanks again ,hope you are back to full fitness soon ,little Tula is lovely
Do you know if CBD is ok alongside pancreatic enymes? Ive been told to gove CBD 3 hours from any suppliments and I cant do this with giving 5 meals a day
Curcumin WORKS!!! I've learned I've got two levels of pain — skin level and deeper levels in my hands, fingers and knees. Stinging Nettle works on skin level but the deeper pain remains. Curcumin gets at both. And by the way, forget about that stuff "aspercream". It's a nightmare. I learned about the stinging nettle when I ran out of the curcumin I ordered from Dr Jones. I was "testing" everything around here and bingo — stinging nettle got the surface pain but not the deep pain. As I said, that curcumin works and works VERY WELL.
You are so right about anti-inflammatories! Several years ago I was prescribed Meloxicam for trauma-induced osteoarthritis after a car accident. I didn't figure it out until later, but after a few months my legs just gave out. The connective tissues seemed to go splat. I could barely drag myself around the block anymore, whereas before that I was walking three miles a day. My legs felt like hot, heavy rubber. My pants even fit differently. Anyway, six weeks ago, I had shoulder replacement surgery, and I only took Celebrex three times. It really helped the pain in the first days, but I knew I'd heal better if I didn't take it very often. The doctor can't believe how well the wound and the bones have healed. I'm so grateful I've never given any anti-inflammatories to my senior dog. Hemp treats and CBD oil seem to help him.
I am so glad you posted this!! I had a 3 level anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion and can't take nsaids just like you've explained. I've been desperate for safe and effective alternatives for pain.
I've been rubbing stinging nettle ointment on my hands, fingers, wrist and knees. It goes to work fast. The pain I've been suffering is horrific but this ointment does help.
Im glad your full of those such vital educated information and with you yourself experiencing such injuries its like your Brain is so actively working on it like a robotic computer wow! ThumbsUp …
Can you talk about Thuja for vaccinosis with pets? I just learned about this after hearing a vet in Switzerland is using this with great success. Upon doing some research I found medical journal entries dating back in the 1880’s all the way up to recent years. Yet it’s not talked about at all. Wishing you rapid healing Dr. Jones❤
Many thanks for your help. My 4 dogs and I have been homeless for 1 year. They are my best friends. Thanks to you, I've been able to help them. My lab mix has a way of letting me know things by pushing down on my hand with his chin. He has had red, warm ears for a while, and I've been rinsing with black tea. Today I put athletes' foot cream in his ears, and he settled down almost immediately . You are a god send. We love you. Cheryl Parker Bebe Roscoe Sheba
My daughters rescue dog is now 13. She is single and does not have a lot of money. She actually has two rescue dogs. The oldest is part shephard/golden retriever. She has been bleeding when she urinates. She is giving her apple cider vinegar in her distilled water. Do you have any recommendations? PLEASE
Sorry about your shoulder.. sends healing vibes Sadly, with my allergy to opiates and synthetic opiates .. pretty much anything that moleculary resembles the poppy's pain products. Motrin is the only pharmaceutical that does me any good.. including after my C-section, dental issues, sprains and muscle strains. Turmeric is a regular part of my diet.. I grow it… along with ginger. I make my own ginger ale.. the probiotic ferment kind. Can dogs/cats safely eat either of those whole or in pieces?,,, you know, if they will.. picky pets around here. Botswalla.. new to me.. Comfrey growing.. check. Topical things anywhere near a bruise on me.. red flags on the play.. Factor V Leiden. If there's a remote chance there's a clot to bust up.. nope, not for me.
Thank you doc! This information is very necessary for both pets as well as their owners pain. I broke my ankle six days ago am praying against the ORIF surgery. I believe that I will try one or more of your suggestions here. I’m sorry to hear about your collarbone accident and I am praying for you as well as myself.🙏❤️
My dog's top jaw was broken when she ran onto a door as it was being closed. The bottom corner of the door has broken a piece out of the bone. It is not healing and a lot of fluid collects at the injury site. I cannot afford the cost of the surgery to remove the broken piece of bone. There is no open wound, but a lot of swelling and it happened about eight weeks ago. I have taken her to the vet who hoped that the bone would knit on its own , but it hasn't.
Dr Jones God bless your recovery, I really need your help I have a boxer named Lulu that turns five tomorrow . A few months ago I found a small lump on her belly , I used a small amount of black salve on her bump ( I didn't use enough or crack the skin , but the small bump was reduced, I was gonna give her another treatment but family came in town with pups, about 3 weeks later she was laying in the grass and it filled up the size of a pair of folded socks I immediately brought her in and coated her with salve the seed came out in two days , then I reapplied saulve and rediscovered your channel and saw the testinomeys of fenbend we gave her (12 cc 60lbs) of it 3 on and 4 off for 2 weeks into the mouth cycle with THC butter, but we didn't change diet the bump was almost gone yesterday we took the bandage off and she was laying in the grass getting sun, and I noticed the small volcano getting bigger again . Brought her in and reapplied salve. Don't know if I should up her fenben, change diet, get ivermectin , it seems as if the sun irritates it , or pollen . I don't know we're it is coming from seems like we are getting the roots .This is the worst time it could happen money is a little tight, she is our baby and wife is upset and home is not the same!
Dear Doc, PLEASEEEEE do your Collar Bone injury a favour, and CAKE (layer it about 1 inch thick) mixed BENTONITE CLAY, and somehow bandage it up and DON'T TOUCH IT FOR AT LEAST 2 DAYS, LONGER IF YOU CAN MANAGE. Whilst living in Zurich during the 80's, I buggered up my shoulder and nothing helped, so I went to see a Naturopath (he was also an Allopathic GP), & he gave me a tub of already mixed CLAY, but it's sold dry to mix on your own. You won't be sorry Doc. Replace the clay mix after 2 – 3 days and strap arm up so you can't use that arm!
I have osteoarthritis and don’t use NSAIDs because I don’t want their side affects. I take a number of the supplements some of which you mentioned. Yay!
Yes! I learned of this research regarding healing without NSAIDs and applied it to myself a few years ago after breaking a toe. It worked great! In my case I turned to Arnica (homeopathic) to help with healing and it worked great! My MD was amazed and thrilled to see how quickly I healed. I've done this since and it works great every time! I'd be interested in more information about using Arnica for dogs. Thank for posting this.
Fantastic info. Thank you for patiently educating us. I know that these approaches do often work better than Standard drugs etc…I have used it on horses and myself with success. Yucca seems to help too. I have been using Boswellia on and off for over 20 years…But some horses don't like it. I am now using these types of herbs on myself. They work better than Ibuprofen without giving me ulcers.
Boiron's Arnica montana 30C homeopathic remedy is a mainstay in my home natural remedies stash for injuries, muscle strain, or pain. I've used it with great success on five cats (1 pellet for cat dose) for a variety of pain issues, and am now using it with same success on my 14 year old dog (2 pellets once a day under his gum for his pain). A tube of 90 pellets typically costs less than $8. 💙

Does the ginger tea need to be hot or cold?
Thank you! I am buying curcumin and ginger to help relieve my knee pain.

Hope you heal quickly! Can serrapeptase help ? Would love to hear your thoughts on this (and perhaps c/ancer)? 😊
Thank you. I got my dog as a rescue. She's doing good but for about a week now. At night she's jumping on me along with biting and scratching me. I can't tell if she's playing or what.
Naproxen can cause heart attacks. My dr prescribed it & I started having chest pains. So did my sister. I don't take Aleve or Naproxen or Meloxicam.

The anti-inflammatory in the morning makes sense since your body does almost all the healing during sleep

Just wondering if taking these pain killers after dental implants can prevent the implant from adhering to the bone properly???
😓Ohhhh , poor shoulder!! Lots of love 💗 to your shoulder🍀💫✨💗💕

BAD ! BAD ! BAD! I like ARNICA remedies , Oral. Plastic Surgeons use Arnica before and after surgery. There are other very good options.
