A client of mine sold medicinal marijuana to the state of Colorado, before recreational use was legal. The weed had to be at least 19% THC to be smoked. He sold the same weed on the street at a substantial discount. I’m not buying weed from a dispensary when you can grow weed that’s just as good in your basement or backyard. The pencil heads will see the commercial marijuana market collapse, because all you need is a seed, soil, sun, and water to get a pound or two per plant.
To many grower's that's the reason. And bring a smoker of the weeds i can tell you it All turning to crap. You gotta search for good cheaper weeds. Get the shitty weeds out maybe they can make it? Other than that. It's easier to grow your weeds yourself.
The problem is that weed isn’t a necessity so when inflation kicked in and people start strategizing and prioritizing their spending habits marijuana just doesn’t fit in the expenses…most people simply can’t afford to buy it right now and if they can they cant buy as much as usual so in return of that business slows down tremendously….the only business that will continue to flourish through recession are the essentials the markets that we can’t live without like food, gas, shipment Ect.
Because trulieve and others have great deals. Smaller companies can’t match these deals. Even sunny side has great deals. Not very hard to search online for the best deals going on. No different from Walmart vs a high end grocery store. Both sell the same product just one feels it’s worth more which is why they do less business.
States are making too much on the tax of cannabis. States want the money but don't do anything for the communities where the tax is collected. We have had a homeless problem for many years now, why can't cannabis tax do something meaningful to make our communities safer
Yeah i use to go to this dispensary in houston but their prices are way too high for 3 grams they want like $60 its good weed but im not paying that much. Id honestly rather buy from my main guys on the street where the weed is WAY cheaper and has the same quality. But the government is fucking over the weed industry
Too Easy to grow at home these days. One 4x4x7 grow tent with LEDS can make 800 grams of premium bud a year in the corner of a master bedroom closet. Auto flower seeds are bullet proof and dirt cheap from 'Fortuna Hemp'.

I am SO SICK of the "cash grab" surrounded by legal cannabis. I don't feel bad at all if you loose your shirt investing in weed. We ALL know this is a long drawn out process and the rich jumped on the ban wagon to try and be top dog in the market. I don't care that you got rich and I don't care if you loose it all.
