Using large amounts of chemicals or so called "organic" supplements on any plant to increase its compounds to a point well beyond anything medicinal makes for products that make you cough your lungs out, lazy, loss of cognition and it's very sad. A well taken care of plant grown in actual home made compost is the only thing I support. I just can't get behind all this. I see it in mycology when people are constantly saying you need this and that when truthfully you don't and they are just trying to sell. I want to see an actual research paper or a properly set up experiment that proves something before I believe anything
Kinda related, but this reminds me of foods and medicine we eat. Processed foods and manufactured medicine isn't that good for us, but natural things found in nature are better.
Stupid growers add chemicals. Only stupid ones. Good growers just use collected rain water with good soil. Organic is ALWAYS better than chemical crap.
I use mainly organic and will supplement with salts. I think most people would have more success with that, but im always outdoors and I've never used a pesticide, especially on something grown for consumption
Come on guys. The organic amendments are also developed in laboratories and produced in factories. Practice whatever type of agriculture that pleases you. But when you display such bias you lose all credibility.
I get really good outdoor soil results by preparing early. I go fishing and catch a shit load of carp, chop into pieces and store in a freezer. I have a farm so there is "aged" chicken, sheep, horse, and cow manure available and "dry" biomass. A large load of all this is mixed together along with the carp and left over winter. Winter in Australia is not that cold so it breaks down well. This is placed into a "lined" in ground hole around the side, not bottom for drainage and planted into in spring. For supplement feeding I use a Digested liquid of carp and seaweed. In Australia they are "charlie carp" and "seasol" And all this will get you a healthy plant 3 metres by 4metres and 4 to 6 kilos depending on species.

Most of the companies selling organics though aren't really being honest most of the those products are really high in heavy metals the way a lot of them are producing their kelp it has arsonic diatomaceous earth and other ground powdered rock products have heavy metals and most organic gardeners like to keep their soil around forever so those heavy metals just keep accumulating
FPJ is great. All the minerals and nutrients your plant of choice needs to grow will be in the roots of whatever plant you juice. Also your plant can pretty much use all the nutrients in organic or living soil. Adding extra will help out a lot. You will get some big flowers that are pretty and strong.
If you want to do organic, you should amend the soil the year before planting. It gives the nutrients time to break down into a usable form for the plant. Technically, there is no benefits over one versus the other one ( synthetic) except for synthetic products are more easily available for the plant, but will accumulate salts in the soil so rotation is important. It's a myth that organic makes better taste. Just no scientific evidence of this.
I grow with ghe ( terra aquatica) and I will buy the canna bio pack because I want a better final product , I made a 600 w hps and some outdoor autos and feminised , nice video , gtotek has some cal max I use it a lot .

Salt based nutrients can and will be detrimental to the soil biology of an organic soil grow, I was with this guy till he went with the marriage of the two. For the bacteria and fungi to thrive in the soil they will need to do all of the conversion duties breaking down the organic amendments and then supplying it to the plant. Salt based nutes will break this chain and significantly reduce the beneficial bacteria population. Just go organic or don't go at all. Simple.

If everything I've ever learned from trusted source and from my own expiernce 50+ years is wrong, then perhaps yes you can mix it up anyway you like it… As for me and my house we won't be contributing to Mon_san_tow, Bay_er or any more for X_on. Wow! Simon s the man. Like hearing how you can use a combination of organics and salt-based fertilizers. I start with organic soil and use salt-based for flowering because it works, is easiest and least expensive option that I understand at this point.
I am primarily organic with all my garden including my cannabis. I keep synthetics on hand for different situations such as tweaking later in the grow cycle if a nutrient is needed or to break down a straw bale for planting or some other nefarious reason. The secret for great plants is of course great soil that has the natural micro stuff happening. I always add bioactive mulch made with comfrey, worm castings, humix and a little Dr earth stirred up and allowed to partially break down the comfrey prior to topping.
my grandmother hurt here back in 50s, instead of taking man made drugs she started growing her own cannabis., she made her own compost, kitchen scraps, grass, rabbit crap etc. and rolled it in a 50-gallon drum. when it was ready, she put kelp, alfalfa, fish bone, bio live into her compost, mix it and then let it marinate in a black plastic bag in a bin. natural, heathy, simple and easy.

I get the best results using a little bit of both. If you got good soil a little goes a long way.
