  2. The question from Ileana about Dr. G’s book title that offends a family member. Maybe you could take a Sharpie and add a “t” at the end? Turn it into How not to diet. The book is a way of living to me and as such is not a diet (IMHO). So kinda works. 😊 Good luck…

  3. Could you list all those powders you had with your oatmeal breakfast?? I couldn't hear it all (hearing problems) and they sounded so interesting, and healthy, I'm sure! Also, thank you for all you do ….. love you!

  4. What is your recommendation for vegans (women) that have low hemoglobin levels (according to the tests)? I notice this is a common problem and the doctors are prescribing meat and iron supplements. Thank you and I trully admire you for what you do for us!

  5. Dr Greger: 🙂 You said let me know if you have anything you want help with … well dr Greger two things one can I was my body and clothes with water and vinegar instead of soap?? I do not have a shower so it is easier to fill up my sink with warm water put some vinegar in it and hopefully get clean that way so I do not have to rinse and I find it very easy but is it clean enough?? The second thing is I eat my berries with oats and banana but I heat up the oats with water and the banana for 2 minutes before adding the berries is that then oke to eat together?? Please can someone from Nutritionfacts answer these??????

  6. I would have answered the question about adding fish and yogurt to a whole food plant-based diet by pointing out that plant-based yogurt does exist and that the benefits of fish could be replaced by an algae based DHA and EPA supplement

  7. I have a question: I remember that Dr. Greger recommended some kind of saltfree, healthy, plantbased readymeal he gets from a certain company for the road…does anyone remember that company? I can't find anything about it online🥲

  8. I love Gregor for promoting high phytonutrient plant based and all the tips etc. Only area I really doubt lately is nuts. Veg Source channel has interesting things to say about them, if we want optimal health. But let's keep the high ground! Plant based, vegan, wholefoods – WAY better than SAD.

  9. 19:40
Dr Greger thinks that 0.8 g/kg of protein is ok for an athlete. But sports societies recommend 1.2 or 1.6 grams or more, specially if they are trying to do hypertrophy or speed up recovery. So I don’t understand why Greger is so sure that 0.8 is fine for athletes and why he gets so surprised with that 2.0 number….

  10. Dr. Michael Greger thanks for your answers. There are many studies and Meta-Analysis regarding the effect of supplementation of EPA/DHA and brain Health but with very mixed and conflicting results. Often I have the impression that the recommendation is more seen as a kind of insurance. If a plant based food eater is able to achieve a Omega 6 to Omega 3 Ratio of 3 (average of usual western diet is above 10) shouldn’t this level be sufficient to generate enough EPA/DHA. As we all know brain health depends on many other factors like sport, other risk factors etc. I would be very interested to see a study with people with Omega 6 to 3 ratios around 3, good lifestyle and healthy. Does this person still need to supplement? What are the studies you are referring to?

  11. I heard from Medical Medium Anthony Williams that vinegar is not good for your organs. I found that when I stay away from vinegar I feel better. Lemon is the best for your liver and helps detox as well as mineralized your water with life in your water.

  12. I do cold plunging and infrared room at Chelsea piers fitness in nyc after a barre or Pilates class. I feel amazing! I am in better shape no pains more energy I eat like you dr Gregor Except no pasta or bread only gluten free. Lots of veggies and fruits Beans and tofu grains everything you say blueberries love dates one a day

  13. Hi Dr Gregor. A fan from nyc. A true follower loving my WFPB vegan mostly raw no refined sugar alcohol or processed foods take b12 everyday just started hibiscus tea 💃good answers about spices. Love buckwheat groats can you comment about them?
I want to make a meetup group for your book here.
Can you make the picture bigger? you are a small rectangle in the frame.
    Thank you.

  14. One can also take cucumber, squash and pumpkin seeds, leaving them in the hull, then marinate them in various spices, olive juice, dill pickle juice, soy sauce, turmeric, garlic … to soften the hulls for several months in the fridge. I then bake them in a slow 250°F oven for several hours. Let them cool as they keep well in the fridge.

  15. Don’t let those who feel seasick make you stop walking. They can look away from the screen and still listen and learn like everyone else. Their discomfort need not impede you desire to maintain your fitness.

  16. It's so unkind of those people to restrict Dr. Greger by complaining about his treadmill habit. He stopped because he doesn't like hurting people. Yet all they had to do is just listen to the Q&A and not look at the phone. Dr Greger is more thoughtful than they are.

  17. Dr Greger PLEASE stop mumbling and speak a little slower, there are lots of people who may not be familiar with your accent or whose first language may not be English. You don't speak very clearly, I know you don't mean to be rude but it does come across like you don't care and it's a shame as your message gets diluted.
