As soon as you break open the hemp seed and expose it to oxygen, it begins to lose its nutritional properties. Processed Hemp hearts in a bag have been exposed to oxygen for a long time. Whole Hemp seed is much better nutritionally speaking, but you must put a small amount in a coffee grinder to open them up so your body can absorb the nutrients. Refrigerate the ground up hemp seed in a dark colored jar and use it up asap. Only grind up what you will use for a few weeks.
Amazing info I take 3 tablespoons a day taste so good I add some with my seamoss an sprinkle on my oatmeal ima personal chef I make my own milks from it as well.. thank you so much for this information I’ve passed it along to my hard headed family members .. I’ve been vegan for 7 years no animal products just plant base meals , water an herbs it’s been helping me out mentally an physically ❤
I do 2 tablespoons with my oatmeal at least 4 to 5 times weekly. Along with flax and chia seeds, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, walnuts, cinnamon, 1 cup of grape nuts topped with cashew milk. It's so tasty. Not for everyone as it's super filling. But you won't be hungry until dinner.
3 omega 6 to 1 omega 3?!?! Last time I checked we need 1 to 1 minimum before inflammation occurs, with more omega 3 than 6 being optimal, and also that hemp has more omega 6 than 3, so, what?!
So there saying that the ration to Omega 6 to omega 3 on hemp heart seess is 3 to 1. So that means way more Omega 6. I hear this is bad. Can someoone please comfort me with an educated understanding to this logic of info
Just this past year I have begun incorporating hemp hearts into my daily routine! I enjoy putting them in skyr yogurt with berries and pumpkin seeds, and I also often put them in soup! They add really nice texture and I love knowing that I am feeding my body well
Nothing really comes close to the nutrient density and diverse health benefits and compounds like hemp seeds provide. There is a reason they tried to hard to keep hemp and cannabis illegal, because it is one plant that can replace 90 – 99% of all other medications and foods. Sunflower seeds also are great.
Daily my smoothie has tons of greens, 1 heaping tbsp hemp, turmeric, bl pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, wild blubs, 10 cranberries, smallish banana and splash of almond milk. It's my absolute joy. I'll add more hemp. My new vitamix is the bomb…smoothie like silk. Thank you so much for this wonderful vid.
Isn't it a bit higher on the Omega 6's though? I eat hemp certainly every other day but I would not eat 3 tbsps. I eat 1tbsp chia and flax daily and hemp every other day because of the omega 6 content.
I tried unshelled ones because whole foods( 😅 ), thats like chewing and swallowng shards of glasses with a taste of dirt, fail…i'll try the shelled ones next time.
great on my oatmeal.
I eat them right out of the bag. Love them…
That would be ironic that Trump goes down because of Stormy Daniels lol.
yeah hemp!
Thank You so much for this información, hemp seeds really are a great super food🎉🎉🎉.
Almost as good as hemp buds …I eat a 1/2 cup hemp seed everyday with grapes mmm

Pity hemp is still illegal in many places
Thank you for this information. It’s all new to me but I’m going to start including hemp seed hearts in my daily diet.❤❤

I’ve been eating hemp protein powder lately. It puts me to sleep even if I’m high on ADHD meds. It must be the tiny trace amounts of cannabinoids.
Thank you
And that's why it must be illegal
I’ll try some now but make a milk with it, hemp to me has a fishy smell sometime I find it hard to take
I use Hemp Hearts constantly, tossing 1T in fresh salads, yogurt, mostly. Keep them in the frig. Good stuff!

Hemp seeds contain omega 6 which is bad for you according to Dr berg on YouTube
Can't get enough of hempseed. Literally, can not find it in any shops here in Russia.
Hemp is awesome

Love those videos…. It might be a time to let go of the 480p tho. 🙂
Bad advice on Omega-6s
You deserve far more subbs and views!😉
Thank you.
I’d heard about them, don’t remember hearing these tidbits!
I tried hemp seeds in my oats in the morning and was farting for England. It got a bit out of control
Always informative, thanks
Pineapples chunks covered in hemps seed yum
Confused, do I need hemp hearts, hemp seeds? Do they need to be ground like flax?
The only problem with 3 T of hemp is that it’s a fair amount of calories and I could eat more nutritious food for same amount of calories.

I am buying some hemp seeds now to add to my oats in the morning.
I like their taste so much that I have a tbs on its own, not mixed with anything else. So yummy!
👍 #BoycottMeat and all other animal products, cruelty and exploitation in any way possible!
HEMP=Healthy, Electro, Magnetic, Pulse.
I add a tablespoon to my oatmeal every morning. I guess I’ll add two! Thanks for the great videos.

how do you geeks get rid of the hard black shell
even in supposedly de-shelled hemp hearts there are hard pointy shell fragments
I eat 3 tbsp of hemp seeds in my smoothie every morning. 8oz of soy milk or so and some fruit. that's roughly 25 grams of protein no power.
absorbability of hemp is really high
pdcaas just so-so
