Yes, I would, and I did. Once he isn't himself and suffering, and you will unfortunately know, then reevaluate. But meanwhile, he's your baby. I'm so sorry he is, and y'all are going through this.

No i would not spend $25k on a puppy
Yes I had my dogs kidney and adrenal gland removed for cancer last summer and she has had a host of health issues and has Cushing. I have spent over $40,000 thousand in 16 years of her life and worth every penny, she is our joy and if we take vacations it is alway with our peanut or we don’t go.
Do as your heart leads you I really never feel anyone can tell you what the perfect decision.

Yes. And I would add a ketogenic diet to the drugs. Brain tissue is primarily comprised of dietary fat which is bountiful in a ketogenic low or no carbohydrate diet.
Never buy a puppy or kitten with health problems. Vets used to charge reasonable prices because they wanted everybody to be able to afford a pet. Now, they don't care, and just want to make as much money as possible. They think they are real doctors, and they aren't: They are vets taking care of animals. And when they commit malpractice, they can't be held accountable
