I have a brother who smokes weed heavily and follows these spoiled rappers of today and now today he fought with me physically and our parents. For these past few months he has been only verbally abusing us but he got physical. He talks to himself like having conversations with couple of other people. He has delusions like he cook ups some fucked up things and tell us that we said to him when we have been treating him with the silent treatment and not even talking a word. Today I called cops on him. Drugs can save life in proper doses but it can also ruin it. Don't care legalize it or not but remember you might think this as a joke but addiction is hard not only on the abuser but also the family members and don't do any of these shits even if someone say that it is an elixir.
Several questions that may need honest answers – 1. Would you allow a doctor who is a weed smoker and just smoked weed to operate on your child? 2. Would you allow a driver under weed influence to drive you the 7 ghumti ? 3. Would you allow a pilot under influence to fly an airplane carrying 250 people? 4. Would you want a regular weed smoker to be the President of your country? If the answers are yes, yes…we need to legalize. However – I am all for exporting weed for national income.

People think legalizing cannabis means every other Nepali is gonna smoke and sleep. NO, that’s not what we are talking about. It’s about capitalizing on it’s medicinal and industrial uses and regularizing on it’s recreational aspects. But, of course first of all much research is needed on Nepali context. Let’s hope.
