I have Fibromyalgia, arthritis, stress, Barrett’s disease, sleep disorders bad bones and am having cronic back pain! 76 years old! Never took drugs or smoked in my life! Tired of taking the miracle pill Tylenol which doesn’t help whatsoever! Are this gummy’s good for pain?
I have what is called by those who name such things: Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). That means my ankle hurts 42 years after breaking it and my left one too. The nerve pain from the ankle fusion is what caused the syndrome. I use cannabis to mainly combat the baad effects of the Oxycontin I take twice a day, messed up sleep mostly. Someday my state will enter the 21st century and pass Medical Cannabis legislation and I won't need to travel two hours to procure. I am confused by your views on addiction and cannabis. We travel to Japan to visit our son and there is no access to cannabis on a Marine Base. I have no problem not using Cannabis for our two week visit. There is no discernible bodily or mental impact after smoking daily for years and then not smoking – Cold Turkey if you will – for half a month. It makes coming home a bit nicer after the down of leaving our boy and his family (including our Granddaughter), but I did not notice any withdrawal and I have withdrawn from narcotics before, I know what that is like intimately, and that does not occur when access to cannabis is not available. You also mentioned first that Cannabis was not addictive and then later you say THC is addictive. Those two ideas do not line up for me, but I may have misheard what exactly was said. I appreciate the effort and will continue to monitor your channel for new information. I have subscribed and liked. Good Luck!!!😎
Is it true that too much thc can actually cause pain? Ive heard that you should use it like an adaptogen; taking breaks from using it actually makes it work better? Im asking because im dealing with constant pain and using canabis doesnt help anymore and I dont want to aggregate this issue.
I took CBD for many months at high doses and it did nothing for my MS spasticity. When I transitioned to THC/CBD, that actually works. I take 1/2 gummie (5mg) in the early evening in florida, getting relief, although not total relief. Helps get me through the night. If I take more than that I get dizzy/sick.
I've toked most of my 45 years after a heart attack plus another heart attack just last week, put in 2 stints. And still I fire it up,if I'm gonna go ,I'm going high as a jack rabbit. 😂
I'm 51 years old. I have smoked marijuana since I was 13. From the ages of 18-45, I smoked every day. Now I only smoke a few times a week. I've used marijuana mostly to self medicate, especially once I got older. It was used more for recreational when I was younger, or so I thought. Even though I used it recreational, I later realized I needed it for medicinal purposes. It helped relieve anxiety and stress from dealing with a divorce during my childhood. I still use it today for stress and anxiety as well as for chronic pain from neuropathy I developed from West Nile induced encephalitis and meningitis. I think it is better to smoke the plant because the 500+ chemicals work in conjunction together better than just taking THC and CBD. There are many chemicals besides THC and CBD in the plant that offer relief for my pain and other issues. When they isolate those two chemicals, they lose many of the benefits that the plant has to offer. I live in a state that has not legalized it, so I have been using it illegally for my entire life. I haven't had any problems, only benefits, to my health after using it for 38 years. It's a shame that it is still illegal in over half the states in the US. I would recommend it to anyone who is in pain or dealing with mental issues. There are 0 side effects and no overdosing compared to pharmacuticals.
Oh please! My brother has COPD and emphysema from years of smoking cigarettes! Totally legal and no one gives a rip about his addiction or long term health! What utter hypocrisy!
Dr , you say cannabis medicinal variety is not the first port of call for treating CHRONIC PAIN . OK then – What are better safer alternatives , please ! I hope they are not prescription drugs obtained via a pharmacy though ! .I am currently taking CBD & THC medical cannabis ! ( Kenneth / Napier / NZ )
I get all my fitting all from Mexico
I love opioids Oxycontin instant release rocks
The fact that our body has receptors for canabanoids proves that God wants us to use Cannabis in a responsible way.
Why would I want to spend more on CBD and the THC cheaper.
I initially thought CBD was a facade, until I tried #midnightcbd. My skin is clear, soft, and happiness 😅
Great information

I take a little RSO to relieve my advanced cervical and lumbar stenosis. It’s the only way I can get a few hours of sleep.
